I can do the single photo thing. I was wondering how you link to your photo album so that others can see all the pics?

By the way glennb2112, I got your second pm and still couldn't see a pic.

Here is my "in person signed", Neil Peart used, drum head. For comparison purposes - these sigs are the REAL DEAL.

Yes, SYRINX, I do concur (agree) that your signed drumhead is legit.

But I want to know, HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU MANAGE TO GET THAT????

Friggin' cool, dude! (Love your bass drum head collection!)

Here is another one of my "collectibles" - the RUSH "word art".

http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g11/Kozmo4Rush/rushwordart01b.jpg

(NOTE: actual image is NOT colored as shown!)

I was given 50 of them from the artist (Mark Skidmore - www.skidmoreart.net) and he said, "do what you want with them."

So, I sold them all on Ebay for tons of $$$ and blew it all on liquor and whores!

NOT!

Seriously, I have never sold one. I have donated them many to charities, Rushcon, Eucon, given more away to fans, fund raisers, given them away at Rush tribute band (ANIMATION) shows - see picture - and am planning on another give-a-way here soon. Its the last one I have.

(That's me on the right, ANIMATION's drummer, Jim Tomiselli on the left.)

I am thinking of holding a contest at the end of the tour to give it away. Its number is #174/500. I had the first 50 (literally!). Those are gone! (I have the #1 print.

Anyone here collect fan art (besides me?) I also have a GUP inspired photo of the vice and egg, and this:

We can do a giveaway contest for it on my site if you want?

Hi Kozmo. I have got a lot of my stuff over the years from working very close connections to the band. I have a bunch of concert used Neil items. That head is used by Neil and signed by him. I have another one also. This particular one I got signed by Geddy and Alex also, when they did the Q107 interview in Toronto recently. I scored a pass to get inside. The 3 bass drum heads are authentic. The starman is from the Hemispheres tour. Check any photo - mine is the left bass drum. The GUP was used in the videos - no port hole. The Vapor Trails head is a spare - there were three made and I got one of them. I really have to do a web site or something and get the whole collection up.

Regarding Ebay, liquor and whores:

Okay. I'll come clean since rehab has taught me to tell the truth....

I blew more than just my money! rimshot.gif yes.gif rofl3.gif

Ah, Syrinx, I remember seeing your stuff before. Those are some unique gems! Those drumheads are definitly historical artifacts IMO. I think a better place to display them would be the Smithsonian Institute! A website would be cool for your stuff. I'd visit it! Probably the easiest way is just upload them into Photobucket or something. Its quick and simple - and free!

I have one kinda in the works, but a portion of my stuff is posted at Photobucket.com. You can link from my homepage:

Kozmo's Rock House Website (Please excuse the incoherent mess. Its currently under construction! )

Oh, and my "give-a-way" of the "word art" is in progress. (Details eventually).

Oh, and where is the thead starter? Lets see more of your stuff dude! (Kinda like 'show and tell', eh?) Great topic! (I just love this stuff!)

I would love to see a seperate section here for collectors. They have one for the illegal bootlegs, but I have always wanted a spot for other Rush collectibles.

I third that! A collectors forum! (I think it would especially help those who are seeking "legitimate" autographs!)

Cool gold albums there, Glenn. I'd have a few, but I don't have any more wall space! (Maybe its time to take down those Boy George and WHAM posters!)

Yes - more fan collections! Keep 'em coming! Lots and lots of cool stuff out there. Even though I seem to have a lot, there is always someone who has something cool that I want (That would be you Glenn!!) Whether its just one piece or several, they hold special significances in our lives and love for RUSH. Keep 'em coming!

Part of my autograph collection comes from lots of $$$$ from andrewmacnaughtan.net and being at the right place, at the right time. I don't do Ebay due to the numerous amount of forgeries there. (Believe it or not, I only have a rating of FOUR!!!) I like collecting the old school way, like record stores, or trades with other fans via snail mail.

Here is another example of being at the right place at the right time:

United Center, Chicago IL 10/30/02

Post-Show at the soundboard:

I got this from Howard Ungerlieder (their lighting director, who is a really, really cool dude!)

http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g11/Kozmo4Rush/RushLightingChart.jpg

Its the lighting chart for the 10/30/02 Chicago show.

I also got him to autograph my 7/19/02 Milwaukee ticketstub the night before.

Enjoy!

Anyone else here meet Howard U.?
