  1. They are without question 100% fake signatures. Anything that comes out of that guys shop "signed" by RUSH is counterfeit.
  2. Yeah, I was surprised to see the sticks selling for $25 too. You can pick them up at most any popular music stores or websites for around $10.
  3. This saddens me. These things are given to them with the thought they are fans but, immediately they run and list it on eBay to make a fast buck. Same for another fan who recently managed to get two pairs of used sticks, he couldn't wait to offer up the other pair for sale to people on Facebook. Obviously these kind of people are just in it for the money.
  4. Hello All! Some of you on here might remember me, the new folks will find out ... I'm Michael from www.neilpeartdrumsticks.com I've been a bit inactive on the forums for the last couple years due to health and time constraints. Got a little behind on updating the site but, have recently got it up to date for the most part. I am still in need of assistance though with updating the FAN GALLERY, a page featuring fans who have been given used drumsticks from Neil by way of signs or any other means. If you'll check out the FAN GALLERY you'll get an idea of the type of photos I am looking for from fans. I realize some of you may not have your signs anymore and can understand that. A replica sign on a small 8x10 sheet is acceptable as you can find examples on the FAN GALLERY page of such replicated signs by individuals. I also realize that Lorne Wheaton is coming to the front row at the end of R40 shows and handing out several used sticks ... please do submit a photo of yourself in that case as well. Please feel free to contact me at michael747@neilpeartdrumsticks.com for submission information. For reason to substantiate proof, I do need a semi-closeup photo of the stick(s) with the NP showing and your ticket stub along with the photo you desire to be posted in the FAN GALLERY. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm looking forward to adding more members to Bubba's Stick Club! :-) RUSH On! -Michael
  5. Not on eBay they won't. I'm Mr Peart's VeRO agent on eBay. If I see fakes or they are brought to my attention I can have the lot closed, thus thwarting the sale. Don't hesitate to email me through my website if you ever see something questionable. -Michael of http://www.neilpeartdrumsticks.com
  6. Just going through some old post ... the "movie prop" sticks were not legit. The other sticks I can't remember. I've shut down so many fake lots on eBay that I lose track of their memory.
  7. The knees are a lot better than they were. No pain now, just sore muscles around the joints. I'm back to work now. :-) Looking forward to the Dallas show.
  8. To my understanding ... there are three different setlists.
  9. Hello Everyone! I just found out TRF was still up and running. Any other forums still going? RUSH On! -Michael
  10. Man, I miss the quiet days of no forums. Just pen, paper and stamped envelopes. Life was so much simpler then.
  11. QUOTE (Bawoo @ Aug 9 2009, 09:22 PM) Wow, you bought them! Much too rich for my blood, I'd have gone to about 13K maybe. I'm very glad that they went to a true fan! No, not me ... I was just joshing. But, I am handling a lot of things for the winner to protect his anonymity. I can say this much ... they will not be hidden away in the basement or storage. Keep an eye out around here in the next week or two for a cool announcement about the kit and where you will be able to see it up close. There are some other things going down with it to that you as a fan will really like. Think Indy in November. RUSH On! -Michael
  12. QUOTE (Mara @ Aug 9 2009, 08:47 PM) QUOTE (PaulC2112 @ Aug 9 2009, 09:44 PM) Rush is a band reports: "Neil Peart's original Slingerland drum kit sold on eBay for $25,100" http://www.rushisaband.com/display.php?id=1923 Hopefully we get to find out who won. . . I'll tell you after I get the money sent off from the bank tomorrow.
  13. QUOTE (Syrinx @ Jul 30 2009, 09:33 AM) [[[snipped]]] For example, how high will this travesty go! FAKE drum head It won't go high at all. I will go shut it down if I can catch it in time. Syr-G ... anytime you see something that obviously fake drop me an email. I can get those things shut down and removed from eBay. It helps when folks like yourself catch this stuff and email as I can't find it all on my own. RO! -M
  14. I've contacted someone who would know ... he said yes, to the best of appearance in the photos that is the legit kit given to Mark of NYC in the Modern Drummer contest. I'm working on getting the torn head story too. Main Drag ... I would love to see some more photos of the kit from the seat view. Couple of close-ups of the bass heads would be really cool too. RUSH On! -Michael
