Oh yeah, me and Dave go waaaaaaaayy back. I wish. The ones with me with my hair down are from the Youthanasia tour, a sort of meet and greet scenario. The ones with me in a ponytail, are from the Cryptic Writings tour. This time, as a member of the cyberarmy that went to the London show, I had to show my ID card to security after the gig. They directed me around the corner to a small underground club in Soho, (The Mars Club), where I and about 15 other Megadeth fans mingled with the friends and family of the band. The bar was free, except for spirits, and after about 20 mins, one by one Dave, Dave, Marty and Nick, drifted in. Unlike a meet and greet, this was completely relaxed, and we sat and chatted freely. No limits, no security, unbe-f****g-lievable. It was like being down the pub wiv yer mates. Marty Friedman, I got to touch my fretting fingers, Nick Menza and I had a good laugh together, actually cracking drummer jokes. Junior was Junior, and Dave M was one of the nicest, friendliest down to earth guys I have ever met. I'll never forget it. And, yup, nu page taunts are just for fun and came from CP. Of course, artists who don't have as much repect for their fans as our boys call them "Meet & Creeps". Cool about the new page stuff. I'm willing to bet it's possible to make 50 posts per page the default value for all users, since everyone generally goes with the board defaults. Why don't you suggest it? It would seem though that there are more dial up users here so a request to limit was placed and the default changed to 10 from 20. After I suggested it and found this out, a suggestion of 15 was thrown into the air. I think we're all still in the tweaking stages here at TRF. Personally I think 20 would be ok even though I'm a dial up user, but we'll see what the admin comes up with as time goes on. Dave has always been about 'the fans', on Megadeth.com the forums there are massive, and Dave himself and the other band members post in there from time to time themselves.
