Earl,

Sounds like you were listening to the previous week's show, which is cool! You PM'ed me about the long track before the Lou Reed tune. I played the first 4 songs from an Italian group called Arti + Mestieri - the album is called Tilt from 1974 - it's Italian prog fusion. The Lou Reed tune was actually The Velvet Underground - I'm Waiting For the Man from The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967).

Anyway, glad you were enjoying it! Try listening (and chatting with us if you like) some Thursday night during a show live, but the archives is a fine way to listen too.

Holy Toledo dude!

I "Rushed" home and clicked on the first stream that I saw!

Sorry, my bad.

I figured something was strange when you played "Hope" for Alex's birthday. August 27th.

Oh well, next week Gary!

Cheers!

Earl

Oh and Gary, I have a ton of Italian Prog.

Japan is insane when it comes to that genre.
They have reissued a bunch of it in mini cardboard sleeves.
Bands like Banco and PFM.

I'm all over TILT.

Thanks

Dude! I never would have known - with all the insane threads you start in MOTS, how about a PFM or Banco or Le Orme or something?q

Man, I would love to have some of those Japanese versions of those discs - one day soon...

Good point!

Damn I do love MOTS don't I?

I really never thought about writing an Italian Prog Thread.

Shame on us!!

I think it might bomb, but then again you never know.

Sure Gary!

If you are ever down here in Northern Calforina lets hook up for a brewski and I will show you some of my stuff.

It's insane what Japan does.

They usually release like 5 or 6 titles and then they put them in a cool promo box with the album art all over the thing.

Very cool stuff.

Too bad I don't write or speak Italian.

I'm going to have to do some serious research before I write that thread.

Cheers!
