Slime
Say it is the cham-peeen-ship game, wherein a victory ensures the big metal bowl. Which of these two is the best way for a team to win the match?
third hand grace
as a coach, there is nothing better than heving the game out of reach early. It allows you to do whatever you need. You can get extremely conservative, chew up the clock and not show any plays to the scouts. You can develop your backups, and get ignorant parents off your back. You can work on a phase of the game that you need to practice. You can pull your starters and keep them healthy for next week. You can know that your beers that night are for victory, not to wallow in you sorrow. None of those things happen in a nailbiter!
liquidcrystalcompass
Counting down in regulation. I'm all for the secure victory. I'd be happy if my team won 50-0 every single week. I don't need any stress with nail biters.
