Metallica's symphony album was pretty good. KISS's, not so much. Rush might work...just replace synths with strings, makes it sound cool, gives Geddy one less thing to do. On the other hand, Rush Symphony could just as well be a complete disaster.

I once saw a disc of RUSH chamber music. I passed on purchase. Has anyone ever heard it? If so, what's the verdict?

I'd LOVE for Rush to do a symphony gig/tour. Xanadu, Jacob's Ladder, La Villa Strangiato, Nobody's Hero, the list could go on and on.

 

About the Rush "chamber music" disc, I've got it and its pretty good overall, a bit thin in places but the arrangements are quite true to the originals. It follows the set list for Exit Stage Left but strangely leaves off La Villa Strangiato.
