One of the doctors looked familiar to me and I could never figure out where I'd seen him before. Well, it turns out he played on "Dead Poet's Society". Case is now closed. The episode is also guest-starring Kurtwood Smith (better known as Red Forman on that 70's show). In the episode, Dave Matthews is a pianist who all of a sudden loses his ability to play. His father, Kurtwood Smith, brings him to the hospital. I've already seen the walkthrough sheet of the episode, and let me tell you, there's something in the episode that effects the entire series. owlswing Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 I just read a whole interview with Hugh Laurie at my Dr.s appointment yesterday. His Dad is really a Dr., much different from the one he plays, he also can't believe that a Dr. can get away with what his on screen persona does. This show is great - scary with some of the illness but great. I would love to find a Dr. that looks into every possibility like him. Now his bed side manor might set off that nasty side of me.
