  1. Never let your stuffed animals hug back.
  2. Link bait. Knew it.
  3. All that would be needed is a really low ping. I think that, if you lived somewhere with decent internet for the year 2014 (read: not North America -- unless you're in one of few cities that has Google Fiber or similar) and you were jamming with someone in the same city, solely streaming audio it would be doable. I'm sure some sort of device designed solely to stream audio exists, so if you had one of those to stream with instead of a computer you could further reduce the latency that a general purpose computer adds. It all comes down to the ping and internet services though, and while the technology certainly exists, the major service providers are still a decade behind.
  4. True, but the link I posted is from an Australian (where the band is from) newspaper. I really don't see what's to be gained from this if it's fake. Website hits/publicity?
  5. It's just a rumour without a real source. It could easily just be a fake.
  6. It was a tough choice, but I'm going to have to give it to Janie.
  7. Appreciate the tip, but "keepass" sounds like something else... Sigh. Should have seen that one coming... http://i.imgur.com/5qMmBKC.png
  8. Pretend the server is a parrot, except it needs the length of the word you want it to repeat. So you tell the parrot a short word and then claim the word is actually super super long. Well the parrot then tries to repeat what you said, but instead of stopping at the length of the super short word, it starts repeating other things it heard so that it can match the length you gave it. Now if this parrot were in TRF HQ, it has heard every post, every password from people trying to log in, etc.
  9. The best explanation of heartbleed I can find: http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/heartbleed_explanation.png
  10. Just a tip if you guys want to make super awesomely complex passwords without memorizing them: There's this program called keepass. If you install it on a computer you know is secure (like a home desktop), you can use it to generate passwords and keep track of your passwords. The program itself is password protected, so you do have to memorize that one password. The saved data is also encrypted and I believe you can choose the kind of encryption if you don't like the default one. 128 bit encryption ftw. Want to break into my account? See you in 2 million years. :hi:
  11. Thanks GoaR http://i.imgur.com/OyjABpd.jpg
  12. happy birthday union. Wherever you are.
  13. I didn't think it was gross until AFTER I read the caption. I just thought it was being prepared for god knows what. You know... spring's here...I should fire up the grill and make some burgers. What's your friend's facebook page? I want to show them the glorious feast I will prepare. :P
  14. Alrighty it's back.
  15. band != good band
  16. I've been gradually building a playlist of Canadian rock. So far I've got: April Wine Bachman Turner Overdrive The Band Bob and Doug Mackenzie Blue Rodeo The Guess Who Kim Mitchell Loverboy Neil Young Rush The Tragically Hip Triumph I'd like to expand on this list. What are some of your favourite bands from the great white north eh? I've noticed a distinct lack of modern artists. Are there any good recent Canadian rock groups out there?
  17. So what's going on with the chat room? Either I've been banned from it or it's locked.
  18. Where will you be when Diarrhea strikes?
  19. Until I hear it from someone that isn't Alex, any information about the tour is considered a blatant lie.
  20. I think everyone's been through this.
  21. "eh...eh...I can't reach my tail. Can you scratch my tail for me?
  22. Happy birthday Spaceman Spiff. Live long and prosper. \\// http://youtu.be/jWkMhCLkVOg
  23. After this commercial aired, 50% more viewers tuned into the next masters game. So if you do the math that's 12 viewers.
