  1. QUOTE (Handle With Kid Gloves @ May 18 2010, 09:21 AM) I'm definitely checking out the setlist long before they make it to my little corner of Canada. I have to agree with the people who say, who cares if they play 5 or 6 songs off S&A? It's a great album and any Rush is welcome. I care. If I wanted to to see the S&A tour again, I'd save my money and watch the DVD.
  2. QUOTE (jesse2112 @ May 17 2010, 10:43 PM) I'm not gunna get mad at the rumors about the songs from S&A in the set, at this point its still a rumor Too much perspective. Thank you, kind sir.
  3. QUOTE (Merely Space @ May 17 2010, 06:52 PM) QUOTE (moedrabowsky @ May 17 2010, 04:45 PM) QUOTE (metaldad @ May 17 2010, 12:20 PM) Did i read this right? 5 S&A songs ? You have to be F-n kidding me If so, I'm going to have holler horse apples. Five or six songs from that album? Enough with S&A, guys. Really. Sounds like they are going to make sure they get their money's worth out of the lights and video. That's some disappointing news, right there. Well, let's see... If it's Farcry, Hope, TMMB, MalNar, and one they didn't do last time (preferably We Hold On), I'd have zero problem with this. I paid to see those songs twice on the last tour, and while I liked them I don't want to see S&A Live 2. If this is the Time Machine Tour, then go back farther than 2007 and do more than interchange three or four songs from the regular setlist. JMHO.

  5. I'm looking forward to the new material, but like others, most excited about the potential for gems being pulled out of the closet.
  6. 1. Natural Science 2. Hemispheres 3. 2112 4. Xanadu 5. La Villa Strangiato 6. Cygnus X-1 7. The Fountain of Lamneth 8. By-Tor and the Snow Dog 9. The Necromancer 10. The Camera Eye
  7. Good. The intro is way too long and if the played the song unabridged, you'd see a stream of people going on a piss/beer break. I like the song, but I won't miss the two minutes of Obenheimer noodling that takes up the first fifth of the song.
  8. I would love to hear Something For Nothing. Cygnus X-1 would kill me!
  9. Freewill -- The part where Alex does this harmonic thing at the end of the solo, where everything comes back together -- epic AFTK -- The opening electric chords after the gentle intro TSOR -- The intro. Magnificent. The chorus of Beneath, Between, Behind Hemispheres -- "Let the truth of love be lighted, let the love of truth shine clear..." I'm sure there are a billion others.
