  1. QUOTE (jdouglas @ Jul 26 2010, 07:52 PM) I kinda liked the kit in the back with the small bass drum...sounded nice..very woody....(Qualifier: I dont know nuthin about drums) the small kit in the back is all electronic including the bass drum. he just puts them in shells so that they look pretty. but i did dig the sample he had for the kick. and i loved neil's drums sound. even at molson amphitheatre it still kicked some major ass. and his cymbals with the sprocket and gear print on them were so easy on the eyes.
  2. but outdoor gigs just rock harder. period. this is coming from a guy that will be under the pavilion however...
  3. or you know, they could stop being monopolizing thieves and lower their prices year round...
  4. yeah i'd take weed smoking over obnoxious drinking any day. those guys are so much more chill and often more interested in the concert and just want to, well, enhance it for themselves. nothing annoys me more than drunk people distracting you, making you unable to enjoy the music and end up covering you in beer somewhere. why pay a premium to go to a show when you are going to get that smashed? i will never understand it.
  5. From the first few seconds of Caravan to the last notes of BU2B I had a giant grin on my face. 24 hours later I am still smiling about how much ass these guys kick.
  6. I'd say that it will be with the colour theme of the tour banners and such. All those symbols that you can see will end up on there the same way that he's had graphics on there for his last three kits.
  7. QUOTE (theguyincygnusx1 @ Apr 23 2010, 10:13 PM) Well, I've only been to one show in my life, I admit, and it was at the Molson. However, I've heard from NUMEROUS different people about the horror stories at the ACC. Getting told to sit down, having garbage thrown at you, etc. Everybody is much more relaxed at Molson and everyone stands and has a good time. This happened at the Porcupine Tree show at the Queen Elizabeth. Everyone sat until the encore. I nearly cried in shame when I was forced to sit down. Never heard of it happening at a Rush concert though, especially at a place as big as the ACC.
  8. section 202 - row R at Molson its gonna be a sweet summer gig. i'm so excited!
  9. May 4th in Buffalo is getting closer. I cannot wait! Anyone who has been to the TownBallroom before able to suggest how early I should be there before the show for a good position (non-ROABP tickets)?
  10. And here I was thinking I was lucky to hear Dream Theater play it! Now their playing the whole album! This show is going to be fabulous.
  11. Ya-ka-may - Galactic Stanton Moore III - Stanton Moore One of the grooviest drummers playing today. Pick 'em up.
