  1. Yeah...if it was not sold out, it was JUST. The crowd was so integral...and you KNOW the band appreciated it. I too thought Geddy was hitting notes thoughout the night. On a couple of songs...I liked the way they jammed close together...enjoying the time. I took my three kids (the tall red head can be seen in some of the posted pics (GREAT PICS)...they were 17, 12, 11. The 11 yo's first time and he was jamming out! What a great show...will see them again on the TIME MACHINE tour. Osage
  2. If the show was not SOLD OUT...it was by a matter of degrees...PACKED HOUSE...everyone was raving. The presentation was SO GOOD. Thank you RUSH for touring...I have a feeling I'm going to be paying BIG BUCKS for the next tour...so addicting!!!!!!!!!! Osage
  3. I drove to San Antonio to sell two tickets I could not use...Floor, Geddy side, row 17, seats 5 & 6 (nearest center)...I sold them for less than face value because none of my kids could get away from homework. I hope there is someone outside the venue that will be willing to sell and not gouge. Good luck. Osage
  4. I guess "life on the road" has it's own rules...so "separating" someone in the road using huge trucks must be a sanitized way of saying...don't hang 'round her no more? I understand the need (safety from them pesky rabid fans who'd want to actually get a glimpse of you), and the issue of Highway safety...don't want some driver distracted by the tour bus and run everyone off the road... I know the bus drivers are doing a job...not getting their jollies. But at the end...the drivers are professionals, charged with getting from point A to B...in one piece and being AWARE of road conditions...all road conditions. Osage
  5. You'd think RUSH's caravan would be large and noticable. Anyone seen them? Osage
  6. Someone said something about eyeballs emerging from the drum set. Osage
  7. I'll kick it off, but would like for reviews to be pasted here. Thanks! Osage
  8. Looks like the guy from Dumb and Dumber, not Carrey. Ged said he'd like to do a movie, may get a small part in the Yiddish Policeman's Union...would love to see him do it. Osage
  9. Down the river, 10 walk to RIVER WALK, are some B&Bs. The area is nice, and likely worth a check. Venue is great...there is a plaza outside for gatherings.
  10. Just checed ebay/Houston...some person has 6th row Pit for 2K. I asked him if he was a rush fan. Like he cares. Osage
  11. I got F3, row 17 on presale and I'm keeping them...would never think of selling them. I'm pissed that the "industry" takes so much of the ticket pie...and that RUSH has had two years to come up with a solution...and has TRIED NOTHING. There is blame to be passed around...but there should be NO REASON scalpers should be able to resell the seats. Osage
  12. Was 2nd row pit last tour in Houston...besides the look, which is totally worth it...the sound of the music on Alex's strings as you heard it come out the amps...can not be duplicated. Cost be damned? Money well spent...get infront of Alex. Osage
  13. In deed...seems there are more good stories about presale than bad.
  14. As for all the previously negative comments...So much for staying on topic. Hey, I'll give it a shot. Yes, IF RUSH PLAYED A FULL 3HRS, I'd love to see another band share the stage...ESPECIALLY if the band was a pick of RUSH's. All this "no" stuff has me bummed that so many members are so easily negative...I'm honestly taken aback at the obstinance. I've never believed it when it was said that "RUSH fans are obnoxious"...but I'm seeing it first hand. Osage
  15. Oh lawdy, you'd have thought the question was...do you have an open mind. I love the "full RUSH" format, but would have liked to see this topic be more of a discussion rather than a cause. Thanks for the responses. Osage
  16. I wonder if KISS had thought the same thing...if RUSH would have come along as they did...sayin'. Osage
  17. I'd like to see Porcupine Tree open for RUSH...50 minute set...sweet. Osage
  18. Wichita AND Tulsa get a show...I like the way the boys are thinking!!!!!!!!! Osage
  19. I loved the rabbits when they came out for RTB. I can remember seeing stage hands "rocking" the rabbits by grabbing hold of them and pulling. The crowd went bonkers. I would love to have one made for an inflatable to be enjoyed at home, or camping.
  20. China did NOT speak to me. I have really tried to get into the song...or just let it happen to me...perhaps in another decade or two it'll sink in. I'm willing to give it time. Osage
