  1. QUOTE (Jomboni @ Jul 23 2010, 06:43 PM) Apparently there are official "bootleg" shirt sellers walking around, INSIDE the venue, selling the RASH shirts. I didn't come across any at the Camden show but I know they are out there! Really? I saw them selling by the doors inside on my way out of that show. But at 40 bucks, no thanks
  2. Gave up on the CITI presale and did the Rush fanclub one instead. For Camden I got: Sec 102, Row H I'm happy with these. Very happy
  3. Since this is a time machine tour, I'm expecting Rush to play at least one song from every album, in chronological order. I'll try to get a setlist together for this theory
  4. QUOTE (DelawareYesFreak @ Apr 14 2010, 01:30 PM) QUOTE (PlaysLikeMyung @ Apr 13 2010, 06:36 PM) QUOTE (OliasOfDelaware @ Apr 13 2010, 01:40 PM) I snagged 16th row in Holmdel, NJ... not VIP. Just pre-sale. The only way I'd sign up for VIP would be if I got to be backstage and/or in audience for sound check or warm up. What time did you get those tix? Also where in DE are you? I grew up in north wilmington I don't exactly recall what time it was, but clearly shortly before I posted that post! lol I'm down by the beaches, Lewes/Rehoboth area. ...and on that note, I just realized that Holmdel NJ is up near New York! Now I wish I hadn't bought the tix, but 16th row is pretty sweet. I dunno, maybe I'll sell them. It would cost me an overnight stay to go to the show since it's a 3 hour drive. You should have waited to get the Camden tix . It's a lot closer
  5. I'm an active member of the DreamTheaterForums and when it was announced that they would be touring with Iron Maiden, I promptly signed up for their fan club so I could do the fan club presale The day the presale started (and at 10 AM), my dad purchased 3 tickets, and yet we got kinda crappy seats. It's at PNC, and we got Sec 304, row G. A fellow poster on DTF did the same thing at the same time, yet got Section 102 (right in the center). He suggested that I pick my own seats rather than choosing 'best available', but that's what we did. There wasn't an option for choosing your own section when he purchased the tickets. That said, is there a sort of 'strategy' to buying tickets these days? What should I do this time around? My plan is to get the best non "vip" tix I can get
  6. Iron Maiden/Dream Theater - July 11 - July 21 Symphony X? sometime in late 2010

  8. QUOTE (tick @ Apr 13 2010, 02:33 PM) QUOTE (nappy2112 @ Apr 8 2010, 07:41 PM) Progressive metal giants DREAM THEATER will play a few select headlining shows on some of the "off" days throughout the band's North American tour with IRON MAIDEN. Commented DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy: "Please note these will not be traditional DREAM THEATER shows in terms of production. As it is in the midst of the MAIDEN tour, we are not carrying our usual lighting and video show... So instead these will be small intimate club shows... just like the good (?) ol' days! "So come sweat it out with us..." The dates are as follows: June 21 - Roseland Theater, Portland, OR July 02 - Newport Music Hall, Columbus, OH July 10 - Palladium, Worcester, MA At 35 bucks a ticket the Palladium may replace Rush as my one concert this Summer. Whoa whoa whoa Tick let's not talk crazy here
  9. All I did was check one of the Presales. I'm actually going to the show in Camden, but the sale for that hasn't started yet. I'm still gonna pay for the 156 tickets. I want to be as close as economically possible
  10. VIP tickets for PNC at Holmdel are 356.25 each
  11. I'm cool with the DeLorean Or the Time Machine from "The Time Machine"
  12. S/T: Working Man FBN: Beneath, Between & Behind CoS: Bastille Day (close call over Lakeside Park) 2112: 2112 (all of it, preferably, but I'll take Overture/Temples of Syrinx if I have to ) AFTK: Cygnus X-1 Hemi: La Villa Strangiato PermW: Jacob's Ladder MP: N/A Signals: The Analog Kid (just over New World Man) GUP: The Body Electric PW: MARA-f***ing-THON HYF: Prime Mover Presto: Show Don't Tell RTB: The Big Wheel CP: Cut To The Chase T4E: Driven VT: Ghost Rider S&A: We Hold On
  13. So psyched for Iron Maiden/DT That is all
  14. I can't imagine them being anywhere CLOSE to 500. I mean, I think I'm getting them regardless, but I'd rather not pay that much. I saw Rush on the lawn of the Tweeter Center back in 2007. That was nice, but I really want to be closer this time around, and getting a VIP ticket will get me REALLY close. So I think it'd be worth it. Personally, I'm thinking between 150-250
  15. QUOTE (tick @ Jul 17 2009, 12:45 PM) I'm finding this thread on page 2 ? Are you f***ing kidding me ? Blasphemy!
  16. They need to cover a Rush album the way they did Metallica/Iron Maiden/Pink Floyd/Deep Purple Because my favorite album is Power Windows, I'd love for them to do that, but I think a better idea would be to do a bunch of songs from different albums.
  17. Setlists have been amazing so far! Oh, and when I looked at this thread on the Spheres page, it had 2112 replies
  18. QUOTE (Sabs89 @ Jun 16 2009, 09:19 AM) I listened to DCSL when it leaked. I was totally unimpressed. Probably the worst Dream Theater album since Falling into Infinity. I was really really disappointed. What don't you like about it? I'm curious because it seems that the general fan reaction is that it's better than Systematic Chaos
  19. QUOTE (the masked drummer @ Jun 8 2009, 02:20 PM) No friggen Detroit dates announced for prog nation tour yet. Nearest shows are in Toronto or Chicago. Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions... This is the first time in history SE Michigan is possibly skipped... unfortunately, since the tour has already started, it's unlikely that there will be a Michigan show. I think Mike said something about that on his forum a few weeks back... Sorry dude, but travel! It's totally worth it.
  20. Same. I could do without Beyond This Life though. And Caught In A Web is totally I think it'll change for the North American dates because BCSL will be out by then. I think they'll open at least with ANTR
  21. QUOTE (yyzyy @ Jun 6 2009, 04:10 PM) Well, today is the day...The kick-off of the BC&SL World Tour...first show is at the Sweden Rock Festival. I cannot wait to hear about the show. Wonder if they will bust out anything other than 'ARoP' from BC&SL??!! SETLIST SPOILER In The Presence Of Enemies Pt. 1 Beyond This Life A Rite Of Passage Hollow Years (Improv. Jam) Caught In A Web Erotomania Voices Solitary Shell Constant Motion Metropolis
  22. I dont know about the JLB comment. For some reason, I always find myself singing the chorus to Count of Tuscany and Rite of Passage.
