I know most fans here probably don't care, but John Mayer's new album Born and Raised is due out on May 22nd, a supposed week before Rush's Clockwork Angels. His album is now up for pre-order today as well as t-shirts available featuring the new logo. The first single, Shadow Days, was put out on itunes over a month ago. So what's going on with Rush here? Are we even going to get this album on May 29th?

Should we like, start a petition or something?

I'm also very curious as to why we haven't received any official news from Rush.com. They should say something, especially since everyone is starting to get all these crazy ideas and some spreading ridiculous rumors around.

Also, I believe this artwork is related to Caravan as if you open it in a new window the link says 'CaravanSong1'. Not exactly sure what it means but it's interesting!

It's gonna be an awesome album. If you can't enjoy Caravan/BU2B, or love to go on and on about how you hate S&A sooooo much (like certain people feel the need to express in almost every one of their posts), then I feel bad that you're missing out on the immense enjoyment I get from listening to this music. The way I see it is if you don't like it, it's your loss. I'm ready to crank this new album at max volume and rock out!

The suspense is killing me, but I know it's gonna be an amazing feeling the first time I hear Headlong Flight. I remember the first time I heard Caravan, waited all day for the release on youtube, scheduled a little , and had my mind BLOWN. The only comfort in all this waiting is knowing how it's gonna feel that day.

Also, I can totally see this being official. The dressed hand is the watchmaker, and the arm with the ragged clothing is our protagonist in the story. Plus carnivals have been mentioned, and we see a ferris wheel in the background. I think this could be the real deal! Can't say if it's going to be the album cover though.

I really hope this isn't the cover, it's so boring. There's really nothing to look at. Then again, this is reminiscent of the Hold Your Fire cover, but at least that one was a bit more intriguing... it made you think about it.

Yeah, Neil loses his wife and daughter and I'm sure the first thing they all thought was "How can we milk this for all the cash we can get?" We're lucky to even have that album and anything afterwards. If you're too shallow-minded and ungrateful too appreciate it then I guess it's your own damn loss. Just don't stake bogus claims cos the album didn't make YOU happy.

An attempt to capitalize on Neil's personal situation?! Are you mad?! That's the sickest, most disrespectful thing I've ever heard said about Rush in my life. VT isn't the best album, but it DOES have heart. Unlike some posters in this forum, obviously.

I can't stand Radiohead... but that's simply my view. I can see where people would like them, it's just not my thing.
