  1. QUOTE (Trance @ May 28 2005, 11:44 PM) QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ May 28 2005, 04:26 AM) I'd have to say Bull Durham is my fav baseball movie. My high school psychology teacher was an extra in that movie. There's a scene with the fans dancing and going wild, not sure which part of the movie though. . . but he's in it. He played it for us in slow-mo one day and there he was! Love that movie I concur...Bull Durham..." you don't need a goddamn Blauplunk, you need a curveball "

  4. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ May 2 2005, 01:42 PM) QUOTE (GhostGirl @ May 2 2005, 02:00 PM) Sixth Sense is the first one that comes to mind. I had The Village figured out before the big shocker moment came, which was kind of disappointing. That's because 'The Village' was static, boring, and predictable. Shyamalamadingdong needs to branch out and quit the 'all of my movies have shocking twist endings' gimmick.
  5. QUOTE (sullysue @ May 4 2005, 11:58 PM) QUOTE (spirit of radio @ May 4 2005, 11:01 PM) The Who- Pontiac Silverdome 78-79 GOOD GOD! How f'ing awesome that must have been! My first concert was 38 Special and Jefferson Starship in 102 B.C. Yeah i was 14or 15 yrs old and a buddy and i from highschool hopped on a bus full of hippies and headed for the border. When we got to the border they thought we were runaways and held the bus up for about 30 minutes but we showed our ID and tickets and off we went. Once we got to the Silverdome we got booted from our seats by a couple of burly bikers and had to sit in the stairway. The bikers were pretty cool though, all they did was roll joints for the entire show and the rest was one gigantic blur.

  8. QUOTE (NeilPeartFan2112 @ Mar 23 2005, 02:03 PM) I have always thought wrestling was stupid. It is stupid and the story lines are laughable. It's kind of like a soap opera for guys and it's so outrageous it's entertaining. We should give some credit to the wrestlers for being athletes because they do take some extraordinary abuse to their bodies and soar from some great heights. And lets not forget the Divas
  9. QUOTE (afansince74 @ Mar 23 2005, 12:39 PM) QUOTE (Sark @ Mar 23 2005, 05:22 AM) I know it's not the most high-brow entertainment out there, but sometimes those matches can be good. With Wrestlemania coming up, just wanted to see who was a fan and discuss current events. Don't keep up with it now that my friend is out of it for now, but in the Undertaker's hay-day, when Paul Bearer was his mgr., I watched it as I could, to see Bill (my friend Paul Bearer) and see what antics he was up to. Who knows, he might make an unannounced apearance at WestleMainia. But he never tells me stuff like that ahead of time. Right on , now we got an insider... Cool
  10. QUOTE (Sark @ Mar 23 2005, 12:15 PM) Yeah, JBL should keep the title. John Cena was fine with that lame spinning U.S. title. I don't know why they gave it to Orlando Jordan, other than to "keep him in the cabinet". What do you think about Randy Orton vs. the Undertaker One other thing, what the hell ever happened to the Dudley Boys? I think it's time for the undertaker to step aside and let the younger stars such as Orton to step up though it's hard to forgive Orton for horking in Mick Foleys' face. The Dudley boys
  11. There is nothing wrong with dumbing down. I usually catch Raw on Mondays and the occassional Smack down on Thursdays. I think the transformation of Bradshaw to the snobbish JBL was classic and i hope he retains the belt over John Zena at Wrestlemania. The other main event is a Steroid feature match which pits HHH vs Batista Maybe Barry Bonds could be a guest referee
