  1. Musictoday presale was a goldmine for me this year and for Snakes and Arrows. Got front row for both shows plus 20th row for friends.

From the film it looks like a big venue. As hallowed as it is, I wonder about the acoustics. I saw Clapton at a similar sized arena and it sounded like he was playing in the bottom of a garbage can. Hope MSG sounds better. Radio City would Rock. Been there and the sound is fantastic. Yes, Zep at its best. TSRTS was filmed on 2 nights at MSG in 1973. It is a great venue for any show. I thought it was 3 nights You are correct. July 27-29 1973

  4. QUOTE (angiodan @ Dec 7 2010, 02:23 PM) At 10:25, I almost fell out of my chair, Sec. 1, Row A, a few seats from the center. My first front row show since I first saw them in 79. Have been as close as 9th row, but never up front. My son's 18th birthday, whose name is is on the 25th. He is going to flip out. Awesome ! I thought I got lucky. It had to have been around the same time I got mine.
  5. QUOTE (losingit2k @ Dec 7 2010, 10:13 AM) QUOTE (Oziumrules @ Dec 7 2010, 10:06 AM) Was on at 10am and I guess all the presale tix were gone at 10:01. Anyone have any luck? Just keep going on! People are just holding the seats as soon as one lets go of their tix they are yours! I got my tickets! I went back on and got a single ticket in Sec 2 Row A !!!!! How lucky !!! I also got (2) more for my friends in Sec 3 Row K. This was done at around 10:15am. It pays to keep trying I guess.

  8. Considering RUSH could stop touring tomorrow I would pay $300+ for a ticket. I couldn't deal with the guilt if they quit and I skipped a tour because of the ticket prices.

  11. QUOTE (the masked drummer @ Nov 29 2010, 03:56 PM) Hollywood Sportatorium was a great place to see them. When I lived in S Florida Rush had lots of airplay, too (mid-80's). They definitely seem relaxed when they play down there. They used to come to South Florida in the 70s and early 80s and rehearse for there tours all the time.
  12. RUSH loves South Florida ! Im glad its Bank Atlantic instead of WPB. That drive from Miami is a pain in the ass. Im sure tickets will be scarce considering SoFla is one of only 13 shows in North America as of now.
  13. I just want to hear.... Natural Science Passage to Bangkok Between the Wheels Analog Kid Digital Man The Camera Eye Vital Signs Cygnus X-1 Circumstances Xanadu Jacobs Ladder A Farewell to Kings The Weapon By-Tor and the Snow Dog Lakeside Park 2112 La Villa Strangiato I can dream...can't I?
  14. QUOTE (D3strukt @ Oct 4 2010, 08:28 PM) Dio. (52 years in the music buisness, unfortunately cut short) Glenn Hughes. (Sometime in the 70's, DP singer) Ian Gillian David Coverdale. Tony Martin. None of them have performed more shows than Geddy.
  15. I would rather be near a pot smoker than a drunk any day anywhere. The only reason pot is illegal is because the government hasn't figured a way to tax it properly. Alcohol gets a pass in society but we all know its far worse to drink than to smoke pot. However I do agree being around any smoking when you are not one is annoying. I was at the Red Rocks shows and it seemed half the crowd was smoking pot !
  16. As far as Im concerned The Camera Eye is the highlight of the set.
  17. Can anyone name one singer still touring that has sung more songs than Geddy Lee? Cut the guy some slack. We as Rush fans are blessed to have these guys touring after 36+ years. Geddys voice sounds fine to me.

  19. I saw Alex rip into someone taking video at the beginning of SOR. He said something like " Stop, thats enough". After that Alex seemed fine. Boys put on another awesome show. I thought this show was slightly better than the Red Rocks shows I attended. Boys were tight and having a blast ! Here are some pics: http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm240/o...20Palm%20Beach/
  20. QUOTE (briremo @ Sep 28 2010, 07:26 PM) QUOTE (g under p @ Sep 28 2010, 07:24 PM) Well I'm certainly glad they won't have to play through this tropical depression with it's wind and 4 inches of rain. It will be long gone by Saturday. its still a 50% chance of rain! Thank God for the roof !
  21. The WPB shows are always a hard ticket. Not enough tickets for RUSH fans from 3 counties ( PB, Dade & Broward). I paid $240 a piece for 10th row center and probably could sell them for $500 a piece...which I would never do. Saw the shows at Red Rocks this year and can't wait for Saturdays show !
