I have more than a few friends whose interest in the band increased due to seeing BTLS and either liking music they heard on there or liking the band. Well we know now that's bs because you don't have more than a few friends.

1. Go old school by listening to the music. Like "normal" people do.

I find BTLS to be interesting only because it's about Rush. As an actual documetary it's kind of pedestrian.

A new fan should want to get into them because of the merits of the music, not the backstory of their lives. That comes later.

Eh. You shouldn't have to sit through the bands entire career just to listen to them...i can see btls be overkill...and would take away a lot of the mystique about the band which is something I think initially attracted a lot of people to them.

The mix is the biggest offender. A better mix wouldve made his vocals sound better. As it is his vocals way too up front in the mix and sound too separated from everything else. The mix just sucks.

Play The Speed of Love then say just kidding. Anything else will sound good after that.

And Tangeroine Dream and Vangelis....hell why not include Philip Glass and other composers? Why not? Get Igor Stravisnky in the damn Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. He deserves it before any of these clowns. Luciano Pavarotti? In Wait? Sinatra isn't in there is he? WTF?

I was going to bring that up, I thought it may been have mentioned already. That extra chorus at the end really enhances the song.
