  1. My damn cat has unraveled a whole roll. They unravel tp like it's therapeutic exercise. Slowly, meticulously... unrolling. We have three bathrooms and I guarantee you I can go into each one and find a nice mountain of tp on the floor. For a while, I had one of these in every bathroom: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41iXLqLTWlL._AA300_.jpg Works like a charm but SO irritating to use.
  2. I'm so sorry!! I hope you are doing well. :(
  3. The first memory I have is Mara telling us about the time she got stung in the butt by a clever little wasp hiding in her towel. This... this sticks out in my mind! Honest-to-god truth it's the first thing I thought of!
  4. The correct answer is B. ALTHOUGH, with A, it's harder for kids and cats to unravel the tp. One of our cats loves to unroll tp and the B position makes it easy for him. I still like B. A is weird.
  5. Ahhh Singles. I love the movie. I watch it every now and then and listen to the CD quite a bit. Had the cassette, now the CD and I play the pooh out of that thing sometimes. When I moved to Seattle, I lived a few blocks away from the Singles apartment complex. I've been to the OK Hotel (the "café" where they did a bit of filming), it's no longer there. I moved here in the early 90s. And, I think a few here know this as I've mentioned it a few times, but, I worked with Soundgarden and Alice in Chains back in the early-mid 90s. I was in charge of their fan club in their management office and co-managed another Seattle band (very small band). The movie had a huge impact on me just because I love all things Seattle, ever since I first visited here with my family. And maybe I can shed some light on the REM reference... Peter Buck (REM guitarist) lives here and has for a really long time. I don't know for sure but would guess that would have something to do with it, along with just being a good sound to mix in with the Seattle music they chose for the film.
  6. Welcome to my world. That's what I do sister Your profile did not disappoint.
  7. A very embarrassed belated birthday. Hope you had a good one!
  8. Whoa! Eight years! AWESOME! You're one of the great ones. I love that you came back to us! :)
  9. I ate too much Chinese take-out tonight and now I feel ill. Does this count?
  10. I always see names of people who I have never seen before checking out my profile. I admit that I am very intrigued why they wanted to check out my profile but I never check theirs out. I figure since they didn't PM me or anything that they didn't find me as interesting as maybe they thought they would! I'm half tempted to write the screwiest info now in my profile.
  11. Try this one: http://media.lehighvalleylive.com/photo-caption/photo/spider-manjpg-02a021bee66ecb52_large.jpg
  12. Can relate. I've always thought of myself as a girlish tomboy. I can throw a football but I'm going to have on the prettiest dress while doing it. I find it easier sometimes to talk to men because I feel more relaxed. Having said that, I don't have many male friends I see on a regular basis. I got bitches coming out my ears. It has taken me a while but I think I do a pretty good job of finding the women who are more like me. I definitely like the girlfriends I have right now. Just me, but it's not easy to have male friends as friends. There's usually a proposition that occurs shortly thereafter.
  13. Look how Fatty run when I tell her winner paid in bacon.
  14. Coach told her the taste of success was, "sweet" but she was disappointed upon learning that was a real ball and not a delicious Hostess Sno Ball.
  15. Upon her win, coach secretly congratulated himself on switching out her insulin for high fructose corn syrup.
  16. I know! What the bloody hell. That got annoying fast. Sorry.
  17. NOOOO! I wanted to submit a photo of my eight-year-old. I thought it would be sweet for them to see a new, young fan just starting on his Rush music journey. Poo.
  18. Happy Anniversary!! TRF would not be the same without you. ;)
  19. Has anyone found this out?
  20. This has been an usually warm "winter" for us. Seattle doesn't really have a "winter" anyway but this year the weather has been warmer than usual. I've already mowed the yard a number of times. Planted flowers, everything is blooming early... I haven't seen this in, well, ever.
