    Rush programmes

On the backstage website, they sell what i guess are all of the previous tour programmes going back to the 2112 tour. Are they exact replicas of the originals does anyone know ?? Or would it be better to track down originals on Ebay ?
  3. I wonder how much of it was down to the fact it was a worknight ? The majority of people there would have done a days work, so maybe a little too knackered to rock away for 3 hours ? As for people leaving early, i noticed it, but sympathise, depending where you live it can be tight getting out of London on the train late at night, I was caught out after seeing Bon Jovi at the O2 and was late getting back to Waterloo, which is only a few stops on the Jubilee line, missed the last train home.
  4. QUOTE (MarkyWarky @ May 26 2011, 11:43 AM)@Jesterhud, I love your avatar - do you have a higher res version? Mark http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab45/jesterhud/rush_girls.jpg yes sir here is the best i got, please be careful they are all my sisters..
  5. Maybe its something to do with the fact that most of us who follow these bands , and have done so for many years, are not as young as we once were !!!, I am quite happy to sit down and enjoy it as much as stand up and enjoy it. What I dont get is, like last night at the O2, the American couple behind me, 8 rows from the front, who came to the UK to see the show and spent most of it talking/shouting at each other so loud i could here them above the band ???? Why ??? Why not fly half way round the world and stay in your hotel room and turn the TV up and talk to each other, and not disturb others ??? Just dont get it.
  6. Awesome show, had no idea my seat was 5 rows in front of Geddy !! What a surprise, in short, excellent show, crystal clear sound, never thought i would see them that close up, crowd seemed a little dull around me, and to the scumbag who pushed his way in front of me despite security trying to get him back and then caught the T-shirt that Geddy threw that was literally coming into my hands, i hope it gives you a bad rash, you know who you are
  7. What time do the band come on stage for these shows ?
  8. Are you selling the ticket then ? If so how much would you want for it, i have two tickets as well in the front block about 5 rows from the front, but might see if my brother wants to go
  9. I came back from the O2 last night from Roger Waters (and Dave Gilmour gig) on the train to Woking, as long as you get out of the O2 fairly quickly and onto a tube its not problem, we were back at Woking station at 00:05. As soon as the show finishes get your skates on and get to the tube, its right outside the entrance of the Arena anyway, its pretty easy. Have you still got your ticket going spare ?
  10. The cost of airfreighting their gear over to Europe alone will cost a fair whack of money, some of their gear aint exactly small, like the amps or whatever they are behind Alex and Geddy, and the screens. Its not just the weight of the stuff but the volume it takes up on an aircraft, i work in the business and see bands equipment all the time going through, trust me it aint cheap.
  11. They dont call it 'rip off Britian' for nothing
  12. Done, got tickets for London, Manchester and Birmingham all in 7 minutes !! Block A2 for the O2, 7 rows from the front. Block 102, off to the side a bit for Manchester Block C, 5 rows from the front for Birmingham No problems at all getting them, had to keep refreshing for Birmingham as straight away it was offering seats at the back !!! eventually it offered a seat in row C so i grabbed it.
  13. Sorry, click on which drop down menu ?
  14. Anyone had an email yet about the presale ?
  15. QUOTE (FoxxiStarr @ Nov 19 2010, 02:41 PM) I just e mailed the Rush site about it. Will let you know what they say. I'm sure that the other UK/European fans will be forthcoming with the code anyways if we don't get it. Googlemail or Gmail works, i just signed up to that and Rush.Com and got an email through ok from them.
  16. QUOTE (FoxxiStarr @ Nov 19 2010, 05:56 AM) Yup .. though it says that if you have a yahoo email addy or hotmail then you might not get notifications. I have the former but have been on Rush.com for eons. I better get the code or blood will be shed Great i got hotmail, know any other free e-mail addresses that do get mail from Rush.Com ??
  17. Ok just to check something here, how do we get to be in on the presale for the UK, do we just have to be signed up to Rush.Com to get the e-mails they send ?
  18. QUOTE (Docmilsap @ Aug 22 2010, 07:19 AM)Yip they're lyric prompters Thanks for the answer
  19. Hi Alex and Geddy have what looks like small TV/Computer monitor screens down by their feet on stage, does anyone know what plays out on these ? Is it the lyrics to the songs as a prompt in case they forget, or the setlist ?
  20. I've flown across the pond from the UK to the USA and Canada to see Marillion a few times when they toured, sometimes on my own. I have some of the best memories of my life on those trips, book a ticket now is what i say, you only live once.

QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 12 2010, 08:12 AM)QUOTE (jesterhud @ Apr 12 2010, 04:36 AM) QUOTE (Earthshine @ Apr 12 2010, 02:54 AM) QUOTE (jesterhud @ Apr 12 2010, 02:51 AM) The band dont set the prices, its nothing to do with them, what do you think they sit round a table and discuss how much they think people can afford and then jack it up a bit ?? Well, I guarantee they won't play for under a certain amount of jack. No of course not, thats just common sense, but dont blame the band for the prices Earthshine enjoys blaming Neil Peart for everything from ticket prices to setlists to the current sorry state of network TV programming. Let's not ruin his fun. Clearly this is why Neil avoids the fans and the media, now his whole persona makes sense, he doesnt want his ass kicked over ticket prices..
