I mean I wouldnt say I'm a Neil Diamond fan at all, but my dad told me i used to make him play that song over and over when I was little, its now one of the top played songs on my ipod. I get them pre show but not just for Rush, for any band im about to go see and its ALWAYS either missing the show somehow or getting their late which is one of my biggest fears.

I work as an aircraft tower at YYZ oddly enough The other night i had to tow a plane and the flight had a listed arrival time of 21:12 which was announced over our radio, my parter had a real WTF look when i said "YEAAAAAA" as soon as our planner told us the flight came in at 2112 lol

At the Molson show my friend and i got there super early. There were only about 4 or so people in line front of us (back lawn enterance) and right away they told me "no way will you get in with that" 1 security guard showed up about 2 hours before the doors opened just to stand guard. I asked him and he said he didnt know until he gets his sheet of aproved items right before the doors open. About 10 minutes he went back inside the gate to have his pre show meeting with the other guards and moments before they opened the gates he shouted at me through the gates that my camera was good to go! Got over 100 awesome pics

I know how you feel about the sick thing. Last fall i went to see Metallica for the first time, ive loved them ever since i was 8 but never got to see them, they finally came to Toronto, i was totally psyched up. Day of the show comes and i got this wicked cold, VERY sore throat and just felt blah. I still went, still acted as if nothing was wrong, and PAID for it afterwards, but it was all worth it. Luckily everyother concert (most importantly all 3 rush shows ive been too) ive felt 100%! Hope you feel better come Saturday

I didnt see a Toronto thread so forgive me if one had been started. Anyway, only my 3rd Rush so ever but man was it fun. I decided to not look at the setlist, even though i knew they were gonna play MP and the 2 new songs, then before the show one of the people i went with let it slip that they were gonna do 2112. But other than that i was totally in the dark and was pleasantly surprised, Marathon is a song Ive been so into lately, just been listening to it non stop so hearing it live was a total mind **** for me, pure awesomeness. The 2nd set was just total bad ass in general. I guess my only complaint is Stick It Out, but hey it isnt all that bad, a show is never gonna be 100% perfect, mainly because they have to stop by 11PM I love how before the show in the line outside all these tour vets are telling me how ill never get my camera in and that i shouldnt even try, guess what? i got dozens of pics to upload in the morning The only bad part of the night was captain bring down in our group. My buddys uncle came with us, he had seen Rush live a bunch back in the day and hadnt gone since the PW tour. After the show all he could do was bitch saying how they totally faked the whole show and that they just played to a record all night..... as he called it "Rock Version of Milli Vanilli" The urge to kick his ass was strong. But i didnt let him ruin the night and in the end it was GREAT! Hope you all had a good a time as i did!

agreed I did the ACC show in 2007 and the Molson Ampi show in 2008 The outdoor show was WAY better in regards of show quality and crowd

i know it was probably Limelight but i dont know exactly how old i was ive probably been hearing it since i was really little and not known it. But i can say for sure it was on Q107 and it was Limelight
