Just listened to Garbage's second album, Version 2.0, and while I don't think it's as great as the debut, it's still a damn good album, and "I Think I'm Paranoid" is still an awesome song. <3

tl;dr awesome nine-day break So I had this last week off, because of Thanksgiving. Traditionally, my county has given us Wednesday through Friday off, but because of budget problems, Monday and Tuesday were furlough days. Anyways, I had an entire week to do nothing, and I actually did a lot. Breakdown: That weekend (the first weekend of the break), I had a "party". I had invited like ten people, and only two showed up, both of whom are two of my closest friends, but we all had fun. Watched them play Call of Duty and Halo, and generally hung out and whatnot. Worked out on Monday, and the new My Chemical Romance album came out. And even though they're a stereotypically dark band, their new album was great. (More on it later!) I worked out again Tuesday, then went and hung out with two other friends. One had to go home after a little while, so I hung out with the other friend for like two hours, which was pretty cool. On Wednesday, I worked out, because the gym was closed on Thanksgiving, and I also went to my first Augusta State game of the year. We won, 101-66, despite a few players on the other team who had serious anger issues. Thursday was Thanksgiving... so NOM NOM NOM. And on Friday, I worked out, but at the gym, not a store. (I don't do Black Friday shopping!) I also got to play bass along to Box Car Racer and +44, which I don't always get to do. I also listened to some 2010 albums, so I can more accurately rate them at the end of the year. On Saturday, I went to Statesboro, to watch the (my?) Georgia Southern Eagles play South Carolina State in a playoff game, where we won 41-16. The crowd was more energetic than I ever remember it being, and I've been going to GSU games since I was three. I completely blew my voice out, and pretty much jumped and yelled for the entire game. Had an absolute blast. Yesterday, I didn't do that much, asides from doing the sound system at church. I messed up twice and created some feedback, but asides from that I did pretty good. Next time, I'll know to pay more attention. I also went to the mall and picked up two blink-182 t-shirts and some cd's as a birthday present to myself. Yes, I'm aware that if you read this, you deserve a treat. I'm also aware that a lot of this seems boring and mundane, but this week was something I really needed. I posted this on Facebook on Thankgiving night, which basically sums it up: "This week has been awesome. Since my first listen to the new MyChem album, I've felt even more optimistic about the future, and Angels & Airwaves' new record is also helping that feeling. And there are still three more days left of this break, then three weeks until christmas break. The future is looking really good." I'm very glad that I got this week off, because I feel much better about stuff now.

In no order. The Big Bang Theory Two and a Half Men A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus (music news show hosted by blink-182's bassist and vocalist) When tosh.0 starts season three it'll bump Two and a Half Men's spot, just because last season was that awesome.

My ultimate wish is for them to play here in Augusta, but seeing as they haven't played here since the PoW tour where, according to my dad, the venue was maybe half-full, they won't. Columbia would be a very nice alternative (last played on the RTB tour), seeing as it's an hour away from here and you have an easy trip for people in Charlotte, Charleston, Augusta, and the other cities in and near South Carolina. I think they could sell out the Carolina Coliseum (12,401), or at least sell a lot of tickets.

So, apparently there's a Radiohead "bootleg" out there, shot by fans, but with audio donated by the band for the project, and it's free. And I'm just now hearing of this? Will download sometime tomorrow. This looks awesome.

I found out that a friend of mine slammed her head "against a brick wall and forgot some things and people". Kind of freaked me out, so I'm going with some friends to see her tomorrow. Otherwise, she's okay... I hope.

I got to listen to the new My Chemical Romance album six days early, and though it's not what I expected, it brought me so much joy to realize that this band has changed so much. It seems like a different band, and that's in a great way. Also, I realized that I'm four days away from my birthday party (misleading word though, imo, since I don't really party ), and I can't wait to hang out with my friends. Hopefully I'll get a "different" birthday present.

MP for me. Seemed pretty accurate even though it's about five spots away from my favorite Rush album.

TBH, I'm becoming less and less of a fan of their stuff pre-The Black Parade, and more and more a fan of that record and the material from the new record that I've heard. And don't worry, if you don't like the songs, I won't rage. The fact that you've already given them an open listen is cool, but it's just that I honestly think the material they're getting ready to put out is miles better than anything they've put out, and that's why I might seem a bit more fanatical this go-around than I was a year or so ago.

Though Georgia lost, South Carolina beat Florida to win their first SEC East title and, as a result, their first trip to the SEC title game. Also, Georgia Southern won, which is always great. And finally (perhaps most importantly), I discovered why last.fm would not scrobble my iPod and iTunes library, and then found a way to let last.fm still scrobble my iPod until (hopefully) they get a plugin for iTunes and iPod.
