Exactly. Rush is kind of like baggage to Alex at this point. Even when Rush was a going concern, any work he did outside of Rush sounded nothing like it. I like Victor a lot, but that was more like the kindergarten paintings compared to this.

May do $75. The art really is pretty cool.

A stand alone CD release would do that.

Gotta figure the rest will be released soon. Nobody records just The Twilight Zone in 1976 figuring it would be rarely played and and become highly sought after nearly 50 years on more than the rest of the songs in that set. There's gotta be more somewhere.

I've always wondered about this myself. My guess is they swapped takes after the tour breaks.

Take away the window dressing and there are some great musicians in that band. Several Zappa alumni in that band.

I'm about up to about an hour away now from my two closest "local" record stores so I never get there as much as I'd like. I spend hours and hours there when I do eventually make it there because I unfamiliar with the inventory now. Probably due for a trip soon.

I'll usually spend a while at those places going through A to Z on CD to see what finds me and if it's a lot I'll try to cut it down before I get to the register.

Hope I'm wrong, but if I'm Geddy I don't know if I want to expose myself to the questions that might result. When it was announced I thought the book tour was a no-brainer, but after thinking about the logistics, I'm not so sure anymore. I really hope I'm wrong.

There's a fair bit of silent 8mm film out there. In a lot of cases the sync job is distracting and it's better just being silent, but this is the best job I've seen even if I'm not really into the Frankenstein approach as a purist. It's really cool that a date may finally be established for this because much of the silent 8's remain mostly unidentified. Definitely an enjoyable watch.

I care much more about music than movies but if the movie is a favorite, l want it on my shelf.

That's one reason I buy CD's. Other is a lot of the music I like isn't online anyway. That said I'll listen to you tube for stuff I already have for convenience or if there's something new I might want to check out but that's just in the background and not very meaningful to me. I tend to buy direct from the artist for the newer releases and I try to make semi-regular trips to the record store for used CDs and see what finds me. Of course, I've been dealing with space issues for most of the year now and I think about culling the library on a regular basis.

Counterparts Tour was great. Prelude was a shocker. The Counterparts songs were amazing and Leave That Thing Alone and Xanadu were otherworldly.

I hope all of the 2015 masters see a CD release. Even the live albums. The best CD versions of Presto and Roll The Bones that I've heard are the Audio Fidelity releases. They aren't major improvements but there is improved clarity and slightly more punch.

Planned on getting the Japanese CD but now I'm not so sure. From what I've been reading the 2015 Magee master was messed with on this release and it runs slightly faster. I'm mystified why this was done if that's true. So I'm hesitant at this moment.

Andy Curran has been quoted in interviews from several years ago saying he'd left the label. He's not in the Moving Pictures reissue liner notes. I don't have the Signals reissue so I can't say if he is listed.
