  1. Angels require believing God? Demons could crazy beings from another dimension able to manipulate 3rd density beings...
  2. Hey I had a similar experience. That kid gets around. Really. Did a house share way back.In the attic a few of us kept seeing something the size of a 7 year old - dark shape. Running around, moving quickly. Saw it independently of each other. Didn't feel threatened. In the same town I was with my girlfriend in a pub; The Bell. Sitting there looking up I swear I saw this strange smoke, but it was like cotton (dense looking not clear) not moving. It really didn't dissipate or move like smoke. I kept saying to my Mrs over and over 'can you see that strange smoke?' She could not see it.... at all. No I hadn't indulged :smoke: Later, about 10 years later, found out this Pub is very haunted. It was on a ghost hunter TV show. Big Raccoon(s) Big Raccoon(s) on crack (who like to play soccer) :D
  3. Do you think it could've been something other than a ghost? [And i don't mean someone going to great lengths trying to scare you.] Well, to be honest I have no idea what it was. I say 'ghost' because my friend said the place was haunted and he and family had strange, poltergeist like experiences (in another house). I still wonder today. Did someone manage to go upstairs without us knowing? Maybe...but whoever it was wanted to play all night... :D
  4. ^^^^ well, kinda of a long story.... :) While in high school my friend and I would regularly stay at his grandfather's old 2-story house to look after him and keep him company (the upstairs was empty and unused). My friend always said the house was haunted, and he and his family would have weird experiences in general (think poltergeist). I'd known him and his family for years and never saw/heard anything so I was always thinking BS (“yeah right”). Well, anyway one night we're sleeping in the guest bedroom, and the grand father is asleep in the next bedroom... Then from upstairs, across the ceiling, the sound of….. “running…running…running…running…running…running…running…running…running…running…” …back and forth, right above my head… …it sounded like a little kid on crack chasing a ball. Wow, I ask “what the “wtf is that?” My friend said “well I told you the place was haunted”….the sound went on all night, I didn’t sleep a wink…more happened, voices, then the oven door crashed opened/closed, or it sounded like it anyway. Yikes. To be honest I wasn’t afraid, but it was a really, really weird experience. But never went back…nope. :)
  5. How about ghosts or aliens? I think I voted yes to both - ghosts on account of the whole God thing, and aliens for the same reason as nessie & bigfoot. Would you be willing to spend the night in a supposed haunted house? I have, but quite inadvertently. ...and nope, won't do it again, no sir. :D
  6. Favorite: B E R Least Favorite Z (can never get enough, lol)
  7. The Trees :)
  8. Christ, I only got 10. One of them was definitely not a black guy, but was... :D caught that as well, but given what's going on..... :)
  9. RIP, sounded like fun place, especially when Alex would pop in on occasion :( Regarding concerts, my Sept 2020 Aerosmith tix were rescheduled to Sep 2021. And I don't believe the 2021 date will happen at this point. Not the best time to have to rely on touring or playing out...
  10. 11/15. The acoustic guitar one was interesting. It looks pretty generic but there is a clue there. I got it wrong. What's the clue? There's something on the guitar that you don't normally see on an acoustic. Interesting, but I didn`t think that 'something' was unique for an acoustic...(and I missed this one as well) 10/15, but I missed a few easy ones apparently (George Benson should have been a no-brainer)
  11. 7/15 ....and 2-3 were lucky guess :)
  12. Toy Story and WALL-E are probably my favorite. Lots of excellent choices..the company revolutionized movie making for sure. :)
  13. If we`re lucky maybe he`ll lock himself out of his phone. :)
  14. Planet X-1

    SOCN

In other news: Permanent Waves is still an 80`s album....
  15. Scars... Great guitar work and tone... ;)
  16. Presto, however Roll the Bones is a close second :)
  17. Chemistry, Red Lenses - the first 'filler songs' when there shouldn't be.... Chain Lightning....completely cringe-worthy chorus and cheesy ride cymbal....makes me want to shove hot pokers in my ears...
  18. Interesting...there are some very good songs on Victor, but I always thought the 'sound' was condensed, or flat.
  19. Gibson EDS 1275 double neck (ESL) Gibson Les Paul (ATWAS) Gibson HR Fusion (I liked the sound so much I bought one ;) ) Hentor Sportscaster ...and obviously is ES-355 Everything else is meh...especially the Signatures...
  20. ....Anything from ATAWS Love that Les Paul sound he created using Pyramid pickups...although I recall Alex saying he thought it sounded too heavy....oh well. What does he know? :P
  21. Lessons - Love the acoustic, and double bass roll in the intro... Tears - Well done ballad, surprisingly good and could have been a total train wreck... SFN - Excellent, although the version on ATWAS totally kicks a$$ :)
  22. Journey...Schon is underrated, but I think his personality has something to do with that... ;)
  23. Agreed. His electric guitar solo intro for La Villa seemed to be a response to the rise of shred happening in the late 70s, early 80s. er....excuse me....Alex was shredding on day one (The Necromancer and just about anything from ATWAS).... The question is: did EVH ever refer to Alex`s style or ability? (since Alex is a better overall guitar player than EVH.... :) ) :codger:
  24. Taking the high road, all Rush albums are unique. :) However, as we know, their albums are produced in phases - guitar driven, synth heavy etc.... I would say for uniqueness - Vapor Trails - it came out of the blue, and is all over the place...plus there are no real guitar solos....that is unique ;)
