Eh, it was a "mostly peaceful" celebration. None of the injuries were significant. They were all released. No businesses were vandalized, Just a few broken windows on campus buildings, and they were all arrested. Thank goodness they were white, eh?

The game is being replayed right now on CBSSN. I keep hoping they'll make the layups they missed last night.

Nope. Even though Connecticut eventually beat Duke for the championship in 1999, and again in the Final 4 in 2004, on the way to their second one, the hatred is eternal. What's funny is that my wife, being from Tucson is a big Arizona fan. Last month their rival Arizona State beat them on a 60 foot buzzer beater. Now she hates Bobby Hurley too.

I was a freshman at UConn in 1988 when we won the NIT. They started a bonfire in the Jungle quad and burned all of the dorm lounge furniture. The Jungle was eight individual dorms all connected by a one hallway, and each had a lounge.

I only watched a few moments, but the tech they called on Clark was garbage. You don't call that in a championship game.

Proud dad moment. My 3 kids came in 1,2,3 in my wife's family bracket out of 16 people. The final game doesn't matter. I also saw my son's drum teacher (and my bass stand-in) on TV with the UConn Pep band. That was cool.

Aaron Judge is on pace to hit 162 homers.

I think this is the earliest I've ever been completely cooked. I don't have a single team left. Fine time for my alma mater to get good again...

Pure carnage. It must be karma for not picking my Alma mater to win it all.

FDU only made the tournament because their conference tournament winner (Merrimack) has not been a D1 school for 4 years yet. They were 4-22 last year. Purdue also lost last year as a 3 seed, and 2 years ago as a 4 seed.

As if there weren't enough Cinderellas already. Down goes #1 Purdue to Fairleigh Dickinson!
