  1. Terminator 2 is stupid fun to me. I love it. I like the first one too, but it's much darker and the feeling is just different. Almost like a horror movie. Not really the same at all besides Arnold being a badass in both.
  2. Ahahaha I love this show. Flav, a washed up rapper pushing 50, is given a house by vh1. Bring in a bunch of strippers and wannabe actresses and tell them to fight over the guy. SO GOOD! I can't wait.

  4. here Who else loves The D?
  5. One of my favorite films. I'd highly recommend Park Chan-wook's Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance too if you like Oldboy. http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/P/B000BGH2A4.01._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_V1128184932_.jpg Then there's Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, which is good, but not on the same level as the other two. http://www.impawards.com/2006/posters/sympathy_for_lady_vengeance_ver5.jpg
  6. I've watched it a few times, but it always makes me mad to the point of yelling at the TV. I don't know if I should be proud or sad, but I think I could easily beat any of those people.
  7. Neil's not very rocking either though. He should change it to Brick McFist
  8. I've never known it as Battle of the Planets, only Kagaku ninja tai Gatchaman from when I got into anime as kid and had bootleg copies of it subtitled on tape. I never knew it was heavily edited like that. They do the same thing with Dragon Ball Z, but that still sucks no matter how uncut it is. Gatchaman at amazon I don't have those, but there's always previews for it on other anime DVDs.
  9. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Jul 26 2006, 05:22 AM) I loved Battle of the Planets, too! My friend and I used to dress-up and pretend we were Mark and Jason. The animation from that show was actually used in a few different shows - the American "Battle of the Planets" was the second, I think. It had previously been used in Japan, and would be again. (American animators added some scenes; you'll notice occassional texture differences, like when Mark and Princess pay visits to 7-Zark-7. Those scenes are American.) I always liked how the characters - Mark, Jason, Princess, Keyop, and Tiny - each had their own unique vehicle, and each had their own different weapon. The last time I looked (about two years ago), the series was available on tape... but to collect the entire series, you'd have to spend an arm and a leg! Each tape contains two episodes, and runs about $10. (I think producer Sandy Frank sells them himself, and is making a nice profit.) http://www.vacuform.com/Gatchaman/Versions/teamg1.jpg http://www.vacuform.com/Gatchaman/Versions/kntg.jpg Gatchaman is great. Science ninjas!
  10. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Jul 25 2006, 04:30 PM) I just watched a half-hour "behind the scenes" thing on VH1. Okay... so... what the heck is "pillow pants"?

  12. Also, this was the first movie I've even been carded for, even though I was rocking a chuck norris beard of epic proportions.
  13. I saw it Friday. We had to drive a good way to the one theater around that was showing it, but it was worth it. My wife and I were pretty much laughing the whole time.
  14. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jul 23 2006, 06:04 PM) QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Jul 22 2006, 07:00 AM) I haven't bought it yet because I knew something like this would come out. Great movie. Even though it was long, it didn't drag like RotK did for me. you thought ROTK dragged? Yeah, especially near the end.

  16. I just got the new Bronx album http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/drh300/h382/h38204tjqej.jpg It's not as aggressive or punk-ish as their older stuff, but it still rocks and there's more melody. Very solid album front to back.
  17. Unbreakable is easily my favorite M. Night movie, but I haven't seen Lady in the Water yet.

  22. I wish I had seen this thread last night.
  23. They had that song "I Hate Everything About You", right? I thought that was just some generic radio butt rock. That's the only thing I've heard by them, but I wouldn't compare them to Rush at all.
