  1. Suspiria is a classic. Tenebrae is good stuff too. I can't remember if he directed the two Demons movies, I think he was the producer, but those were awesome too. He definitely had something to do with them. He also makes good kids.
  2. I liked the first few albums at one time, but I haven't listened to them in a long time. The singles from By the Way sounded okay, but didn't peak my interest enough to check out the album, and the four or five songs I've heard from Stadium sound like complete ass. That first single that was a complete Tom Petty ripoff was really bad.
  3. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ Apr 29 2007, 06:25 AM) QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Apr 28 2007, 06:11 AM) Gotta love Fulci's Zombie. Come on, there's a shark vs. zombie fight scene. I bought these shirts from Rotten Cotton: http://rottencotton.com/shirts/horror/311_ultimatezombie.gif http://rottencotton.com/shirts/horror/302_braindead.jpg I have never seen Zombie....til last night. Found a torrent for it and downloaded and check it out. Pretty cool! Hokey script, laughable deliveries by actors, some gross gore scenes.....perfect! The soundtrack was pretty cool...and the shark scene was hilarious and wild! Thanks Storm for the mention Nice! The eye scene is something too. Zombie is a classic in my book, glad you enjoyed it. I wouldn't even bother with Zombi 3 (Zombie's original title was Zombi 2, which was an unofficial sequel to Dawn of the Dead which was called Zombi in Italy...WTF?!!). Anyway, Fulci is credited as director of Zombi 3, but most of it was directed by Bruno Mattei, and it's pretty boring.
  4. I liked Land of the Dead a lot. I didn't really understand the mostly negative reviews it got from the fans, but I guess it was because it seemed more like an action movie with zombies. Who cares, it rocked, and speaking of horror directors daughters...Asia Argento who was in Land of the Dead...HELLO!

  6. 45 Grave was a horror punk band that did the song "Party Time" from RotLD. http://agonyshorthand.blogspot.com/45autops.jpg I'm a sucker for stupid shit. I like your idea too. I always thought I could make the funniest zombie movie ever...then I saw Braindead/Dead Alive. http://www.obscurehorror.com/deadalive2.jpg One of the best comedies ever! I miss this Peter Jackson.
  7. Romero's movies rule and I have several of the shirts, but my favorite zombie movie has gotta be Return of the Living Dead. "Send more paramedics." and 45 Grave ruled. PARTY TIME!
  8. Awesome! I love her too I also love youtube, I didn't have to watch shitty ass SNL to see these videos. Thanks PK! This is still the best Bjork video ever though: GANGSTA.
  9. QUOTE (invisibleairwaves @ Apr 17 2007, 02:55 AM) There aren't a lot of movies I really hate, but (and I know plenty of people that LOVED this one) Spirited Away was probably one of the worst things I ever watched. That one was in the "so bad it's funny" category for sure. Spirited Away is a great movie. I'd even put it in the top 5 animated movies ever. Howl's Moving Castle is the only Miyazaki film not up to par with the rest.
  10. The Burbs rules, I love that movie.
  11. I really liked the first Matrix movie when it came out, but the other two were so shitty it kind of ruined my enjoyment of it. The first one feels like it's setting up a big epic story, and it's good, but the other two suck and arent worth watching so the whole thing feels incomplete now. That 10 minute underground rave scene in the second one is the biggest eye rolling moment in movie history. LotR rocks though. The third one was a bit too long and gets kind of boring at the end, but it's probably one of the best movies I've ever seen in the theater.
  12. QUOTE (pedro2112 @ Apr 11 2007, 05:25 PM)QUOTE (Ya_Big_Tree @ Apr 11 2007, 11:53 AM) all it is, is wall to wall boobs and a chick who thinks she can dance but basically has sex with the air the entire time. that single-handedly removes it from eligibility on this list... They made that movie just to have Jessie Spano dance around naked. http://andrewkrueger.com/news/wp-content/slater.jpg "Hey, mama."
  13. http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/drg400/g453/g45389hxe89.jpg I loved that cover until I saw the full artwork in the vinyl version: http://workhardened.com/mastodon/lev/mast_levLPinLsm.jpg
  14. QUOTE (Ya_Big_Tree @ Apr 9 2007, 08:24 AM) QUOTE (-D-RocK- @ Apr 7 2007, 05:37 PM) The Hills Have Eyes - possibly the stupidest movie ever made. And wouldn't you know it, the sequel is coming to a theatre near you. I agree, that movie was awful. It made absolutely no sense and personally I think it is Wes Craven's worst movie. I am flabbergasted that a sequel is coming out. I also liked Contact the first time I watched it. I just cant watch it a second time and have the same reaction to it. It's kinda hard picking a worst from Wes Craven. They're pretty much all turds except for the first Nightmare on Elm Street. Serpent and the Rainbow was all right too, I guess.

  16. About time. The ending of the show was very unsatisfying.
  17. QUOTE (Kudzu @ Apr 7 2007, 04:45 PM)I had to vote Storm, but I love both artists' work. ^
  18. QUOTE (WCFIELDS @ Apr 7 2007, 04:35 PM) For what it's worth....I also liked Contact.....great movie. It's cool, I didn't want anyone else in my Contact Sucks club anyway.
  19. QUOTE What weak ending? It was perfect` The alien taking the appearance of her dad was terrible. Then the whole "look, the tape recorded 18 hours, she's NOT crazy!" made it even worse. You guys are the first people I've ever seen that liked that movie...weirdos.
  20. QUOTE (The Rocinante @ Apr 6 2007, 02:55 PM) I agree. Contact was incredible You guys didn't feel gipped with that weak ending? It ruined the whole thing for me.
  21. I love bad 70s and 80s horror movies, but I don't consider Evil Dead bad, those movies rule in a good way.
  22. QUOTE (ReRushed @ Apr 5 2007, 05:44 PM)QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Apr 5 2007, 06:05 PM) QUOTE (ReRushed @ Apr 5 2007, 04:02 PM)Oh yeah, I like his films, but Terry Gilliam is a tad bit overrated, IMHO. Chill out! I wrote a TAD bit overrated! I know, I'm just kidding. He's my favorite director and I was just waiting for someone to mention him so I could use the angry smiley.

  24. Steven Soderbergh and Larry Clark. I couldn't believe people liked Bully, that shit was terrible.
  25. House of the Dead - Uwe Boll really out did himself with this one. Even the great Clint Howard couldn't save it. Rest in Pieces - I love bad horror movies from the 80s and when I was younger I'd always go rent things with cheesy covers, hoping they'd be hilariously bad. This movie had a cool cover with a zombie jumping out of a grave, but the movie was like an episode of a soap opera where only one person got stabbed...and you didn't even see it. and f***ing Contact
