Well, I couldn`t have been more impressed if I had watched The Bells of St Mary`s being played on the mouse organ. The lead singer/bassist/keyboardist/violinist (yes, he does the whole Geddy thing as well as looking like Geddy, complete with soul patch and ponytail) really does sound like Geddy, circa 2005 so still able to hit the notes and has the voice spot on, tonally and pitchwise. Really impressed with his playing - opening with Headlong Flight was a great choice. It`s not his fault but I wouldn`t play Stick it Out or Driven if I was arranging the setlist. All delivered faultlessly though. Added marks for him singing and violin-ing Losing It, in very impressive fashion. The guitarist was good. He does not look like Alex. He looks like Wolfgang Van Halen if he was older and uglier. He didn`t do anything wrong, but he wasn`t as striking as his colleagues. Maybe I can`t watch guitarists without being too critical. Jamie Dunleavey is their drummer. Maybe it`s possible to be totally objective about watching an attractive youngish red-haired female playing awesomely? She was amazing. Natural Science was impeccably delivered. Cygnus X-1 got the full treatment, Tom Sawyer too, and YYZ was a real standout. She`s fantastic and lots of her videos are on the various social media disgraces/platforms, and I would recommend investigation if drumming is your thing. We missed 2112 (I assume it was the encore?) due to leaving for the penultimate train, as Scot Rail is far too risky to trust that the last train will actually turn up. On the upside, we got to leave halfway through Xanadu before any lyrics about melons or milk. Perfect.

Hello everyone. Me and my beloved are going to see https://www.bandsintown.com/e/106071147-moving-pictures-rush-tribute-scotland-at-macarts?came_from=209 in an hour. It`s as near to the real thing as I`m ever going to get. I wouldn`t personally handpick the R40 setlist they promise, but I`ll be very happy with some Natural Science and a bit of 2112 action. I`m keeping my expectation levels low, which is in marked contrast to my shouting-along-and-ruining-it-for-everyone-else levels.

His eyes just closed, and he fell into the wastepaper basket. I've covered him with a copy of the 'Charlie George Football Book'. -

Tonight on The Money Programme, we're going to look at money. Lots of it. On film, and in the studio. Some of it in nice piles, others in lovely clanky bits of loose change. -

There are also scenes of naked women with floppy breasts, and also at one point you can see a pair of buttocks and there's another bit where I'll swear you can see everything. -
Season 7 has started fairly well, I think. Prince is a decent antagonist in a show with nothing but antagonists. Not sure if Axe will appear again. I`ve watched it since it started and like the references - Peart and Rush in one episode, Van Halen in another - although the constant smart-ass dialogue can be tiring. It`s always visually attractive.

Hey Robert! Spurs are top after three games (just like 2021 and 2022 and assuming nobody else plays from now). I`m making my yearly post requesting that the season ends here.
