QUOTE (Mara @ Aug 19 2009, 08:59 AM) QUOTE (BeOhBe Bob @ Aug 18 2009, 08:51 AM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Aug 17 2009, 05:35 PM) QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Aug 17 2009, 05:25 PM) QUOTE (Janie @ Aug 14 2009, 03:35 PM) "Globs of fat." Mara! This is the nice thing about being more on the small side - aside from I personally just think smaller breasts look better. Big boobs more often than not do remind me of just big "globs of fat." Boy, do *I* feel pretty now. Boobs come in all shapes and sizes, and they're all nice. Their size doesn't matter when they fit the body of the woman they're attached to. Amen brother, well put! Even banana boobs? Or Picasso breasts? (Picasso breasts can be seen in pretty much any of Pablo's renderings of the female form. They are crooked, misshapen, and usually one is larger than the other. Or they look as if the artist completed his work, then upon scrutiny of it said, "Oh, shit, I forgot something," and hastily added boobs. They look like they were stuck on there as an afterthought, especially his sculptures). http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af150/ArtFortune/Pablo-Picasso-Portrait-of-D.jpg Granted, this woman (Dora Mears) has problems other than her boobage. I shall ponder this.... Hmmmm...... Boobies.
  2. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Aug 18 2009, 01:16 PM) Check this out: http://www.geofex.com/FX_images/dynacomp.gif Yeah, I came across that one too. I don't think that's the schem for the actual MXR unit, but rather someone's copy of it. Also, mine has the LED and isn't true bypass, which is different than that one. But I do thank you for the effort.
  3. Anyone here have an MXR Dyna Comp with the on/off LED? I have one without the footswitch and LED and want to put them back in, but need to know how it's wired. I can take a good guess but I'd rather have confirmation. Anyone here have one and are willing to open it up and check it out? I'll email you a cookie.

And, this is why I love you. Distractor!!!!!!! No, if you want distracting (for the guys and Janie, at least...) http://katyoliver.com/upload/2008/06/bacon%20bra%20via%20dlisted.jpg I'd like to grab a carton of eggs and go to the beach with her. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/1001001/hunky_bacon_2.jpg

  10. QUOTE (physics23 @ Aug 11 2009, 02:01 PM) QUOTE (tepes22b @ Dec 22 2005, 03:09 PM)Well, here's some demos that I haven't really decided what I'm going to do with. They're from the tail end of my harder metal phase, and when I was more a lead guitarist that can play bass. Now, I am pretty good at both. Anyway, here's a few selections, but feel free to click on the main artist page to see the rest of what I have. Black Rain The Power to End it All Pariah Does tepes still post here? Going on four years since I first heard these tracks, I still find myself humming "Black Rain" and "Pariah" on occasion. Hey, good to see you physics! Not sure how regularly tepes logs in here, but he was here today since you posted this.
  11. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Aug 9 2009, 02:46 AM)As for A-Rod "statistically, not getting his big hits in clutch situations," it should be pointed out, as sharp baseball analysts have done before, that it's not as if he's intentionally only getting his hits when they don't matter, or has purposefully spread his RBIs around so that they'd least help his team! Come on, guys! What are you thinking?? The guy can hit and he does; whether his hits win the game, help win the game, or are essentially meaningless homeruns in a 17-2 blowout, he's a great player and hitter doing his job. The clutch players get the big hit when his team needs it most. That's what separates them from the merely great players. A-Rod is clearly great. But not often clutch. Tonight he was.

"Between two pillows." "THOSE AREN'T PILLOWS!!!!" By far my fave of Hughes' movies (and they're all good). It's the one we play the most - - on a rainy day - - with !!!! I've soooooooooooo missed John Candy!!! And now Hughes is gone at a young age, too! I so loved his spirit of adolescent rebellion, not only revealed in his characters, but also directed at the b.s. in the film industry. The infamous "multiple F-word scene" in P,T,&A was only added by Hughes so that the movie wouldn't get a PG rating. He was flipping-off the fools who sit there and count the bombs! Well-done!!! And he also had a sentimental side which he proved with the end of P,T,&A at the Thanksgiving family dinner scene. Who can possibly watch that scene without a box of tissues?!? Thanks for the laughs John! . . . as well as the tears! Very sad! Hare The scene near the end where Steve Martin is on the train reminiscing about the little adventure he and John Candy just had, then puts the pieces together and realizes Candy's real situation, then goes back to the train station to find Candy still sitting on his trunk with nowhere to go...that is SO well done. That scene is perfectly set up by everything that happened before it, but worth the price of admission all by itself. Final Scene of PT&A I was looking for that on YouTube. Nice find. I remembered part of that wrong. I thought Candy was sitting on his trunk at the train station, but he was just sitting on a bench. That means it's been too long since I've seen this movie, and need to pop it in again. The most underrated scene of the whole movie. Owen. Love it. That's the only time I've seen Dylan Baker do comedy (he was great in "Thirteen Days").
  13. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Aug 9 2009, 07:14 PM) Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale. Yep, the Fresh Hop one. It's part of my regular rotation now. Tell me it doesn't taste like they brewed it yesterday and sent it straight to your house.

  17. QUOTE (Mara @ Aug 6 2009, 07:42 PM) Without him, Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, and Ally Sheedy probably would have never had careers. I might have added Anthony Michael Hall, but he has the starring role in the (very good) USA series "The Dead Zone". And without him, John Candy and Matthew Broderick might not have become household names.
  18. QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ Aug 4 2009, 01:53 PM) "George is gettin' upset..!" Best comedy show ever. "It's the Kung Pow...George likes his chicken spicy!"
  19. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Aug 3 2009, 08:01 PM) Having my first Stone 13th Anniversary Ale. Wow! This is a BIG beer! Incredibly hoppy with a ton of complex flavors. It has a similar ruinous effect on the palate as Ruination. I gotta say, it is OUTSTANDING! Another job well done by Stone. Saw that in the store today, but picked up a bottle of Self Righteous instead. I'll try that one sometime during the week. And no, my beer guy did not have the Juxtaposition black pilsner, and he's not sure his distributor is going to get it.
  20. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Jul 31 2009, 06:47 PM) Stone Juxtaposition Black hit store shelves this past Monday. Good luck getting your hands on some. Its not being widely distributed at all. Here in Florida we aren't going to get ANY distributed. Thankfully, I have 2 bottles on the way from California. New York is getting some. I'll be visiting my beer guy tomorrow to see if he's one of the lucky few.
  21. McLean Stevenson annoyed the hell out of me in that show. I couldn't watch him for more than five minutes without lunging for the channel knob on the TV (don't think there were wireless remotes back then! ).
  22. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Jul 29 2009, 03:04 PM) QUOTE (rushbass @ Jul 28 2009, 09:37 PM) Sierra Nevada Stout Thanks for the reminder. I gotta pick up some SN Stout along with their porter. I think their porter is one of the best I've ever drank. I'm becoming a big fan of SN's Torpedo IPA.
