Everyone has their "that's a guy?!" moment. Even on the relatively low TS vocal, Ged just does not sound like a dude to the uninitiated ear, That happened to me with a co-worker who heard Anthem. He thought it was a girl and refused to believe otherwise until I showed him a photo of the band. That didn't even help my first wife... she saw Geddy in his kimono and said "That's a kinda homely chick," or something pretty close.

I loved it when it came out and I still love it. The sound on this album is one of the most unique they've ever put out. Everything was so clean sounding. One of Alex's best albums imo.

I truly believe Rush hit the sweet spot on Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures and Signals. I chose those three because they seem like the most complete albums in terms of a theme and musicianship. I know it's common. The only 10/10 was Moving Pictures. I consider it their masterpiece.

I was a RUSH fanatic for over two decades. I don't care about them anymore!! Until, I here them in a place or on a station which I shouldn't!!! Oh hell, I still look up RUSH on youtube to make memories. :P

I loathe Dog Years and Rivendell is a close second. I guess I'm one of the few that likes Red Lenses.

My boss, who is holding this whole project together, just quit. I've only been in the business for seven years and I can't fill his shoes. Though I may be asked. Check out the Tex Rail Project in DFW. I'm running the lab testing portion of it but not the whole damn thing!!

I'll give them this....... They seemed to have grasped the concept of Rush and YYZ (in particluar) for the most part. There are a lot of people that listen to "rock" that never have and never will never. It's funny that people who don't listen to much good rock have the opinion about the the bass and the drums being good but they don't have much to say about the electric guitar. The importance of it is probably tone deaf to them until/unless they explore further an develop and ear for it.

I'm not really interested either but The Crown on Netflix is pretty damn entertaining. I highly recommend it.
