Really depends on your taste in music. Every one is really different and appeals to a particular sort of audience (albeit with a good deal of overlap). For instance, if you've got a thing for the nineties and that brand of alt rock, Showbiz is perfect. But if not it may sound really wimpy and whiny vocally and lyrically, and you may see them as an unoriginal Radiohead/Nirvana ripoff. Actually those reactions aren't mutually exclusive. I love Queen, so The Resistance was recommended to me for it's plethora of Queenisms, and I fell in love with it. But a lot of older Muse fans hate it for the same reasons that I love it, plus it does a lot more pop and commercial type stuff. The most accessible yet indisputably good two albums are probably Absolution and Black Holes & Revelations, though they both suffer from kind of awful production and lackluster flow/tracklisting. However, that's where you'll find some of their most gloriously Musey accessible pop rock hits among other things. Time Is Running Out, Hysteria, Starlight, Supermassive Balck Hole, and Map Of The Problematique are all great tunes to start with, plus the essentials Knights Of Cydonia, Stockholm Syndrome, and Butterflies & Hurricanes.
