    And Memories can't wait - Living Colour (Talking Heads) - improves greatly on the TH version imo. Like THs but that's not a fave song of theirs for me. Yep, agree. I think the Living Colour versions of Back In Black (AC/DC) and Tomorrow Never Knows (The Beatles) from the Colleoscope album are good too. Preachin' Blues (Robert Johnson), and the other covers from the Shade album is good also.

    I, too, thought Rock Or Bust was pretty underwhelming on first (dozen or so) listens but after many more spins find it to be one of my later day favourites. I prefer it to Power Bust, which I really like. As for Stiff Upper Lip, apart from the two tracks Safe In New York City and Cyberspace, I find it a treasure trove of riffs and rhythms.     As an Aussie, I've gotta ask - I presume we're talking about the international editions, and not about the original Australian versions of those early albums?

    This will annoy just about everyone, I know, but as album experiences as a whole listening period, I prefer the Brian era. The Bonn albums may have higher highs, but a lot of lower lows. I find the Brian era more of a consistent 'median' listening experience
