  21. So what do you do if you listen to an album that happens to have a popular song? I would never listen to an album with a popular song, too mainstream :sundog:
  22. I actually only listen to deep cut songs, so if i dont know the song it is popular and cannot be on the list.
  23. My first CD ever was ELO's greatest hits, I remember playing Telephone Line on repeat constantly. I started listening to Rush when I was about 10, the first song being Limelight, not too far after I got into Triumph Some concerts I have been to included: (Rush x2, Journey, Iron Maiden, Yes) Started collecting records at 15, my first 2 I bought were Journey's Escape and Rush's 2112. I remember looking at the covers for hours just inspecting every little detail about them, it really is m favorite part of collecting. I turned down the path of a prog nerd, the first band that really got me into prog was Genesis, listening to Foxtrot was a truly amazing experience. The first "obscure" prog album I listened to was Nektar's- Journey to the Centre of the Eye, a truly amazing space rock album. Then came the band Love. Forever Changes really changed me as a person. I think I discovered it at a good time. I was starting with bad depression, a death in the family really was hard, but this album kept me happy, the music really uplifted me. I love every second of it. I can truly say this album has changed me and will be my favorite album of all time for a while. Some "milestone" albums for me include. The Cars- Candy O. Really got me into new wave kinda music and into bands like The Police, Talking Heads, Duran Duran etc. Boston - Boston. Just wow what an album, there was a period where I would listen to this album everyday for months. Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. First album to get me into Jazz, a real stepping stone Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Inner Mounting Flame. This album really got me in Jazz Fusion and wanted to explore more genre's of music. Pink Floyd- The Wall. Got me into concept albums, wanted to explore more about stories in music. Hawkwind - Space Ritual. Favorite live album, really got me into space rock. And one of my favorite album covers Many more albums, but i will stop here.
