  1. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Dec 30 2007, 03:01 PM) Uh... no. Actually, this film was singled-out for criticism in the Ahnuld thread. Best film you've ever seen? Are you in a shelter? Dude, how could you criticize a film in which a giant Asian man attacks people with razor sharp hockey sticks? F*ck the Terminator, I'll take Ben Richards.
  2. So I received the special edition DVD of this movie for Christmas... I'd never seen it. I watched it last night, and man... it's probably the best movie I've ever seen. Now... there's gotta someone else willing to show love for this film.
  3. Amazing movie... I've seen it about a million times. Hopefully the sequel will be just as good...
  4. I didn't even bother watching it.
  5. I liked it up until the ending, which was horrible... but that scene where he first went into the dark (chasing the deer) was inteeeeeeeense. Now I'm off to rent Omega Man from blockbuster and borrow I Am Legend from the library.
  6. QUOTE (J0N @ Dec 27 2007, 04:44 PM) Rush are one of their main influences, whether they sound like them or not. I seem to remember Claudio Sanchez saying he had never heard Rush until people compared his band to them. Anyways, I think No World For Tomorrow is really lameeee... I used to be into their old stuff a lot though. Not so much anymore.
  7. Garden State. Basically a chick flick.
  8. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ Dec 17 2007, 04:08 PM) The worst was Blair Witch Project Horrible, horrible movie
  9. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Dec 11 2007, 12:43 PM) She was somebody we "loved to hate" Thus guaranteeing her a series of her own
  10. QUOTE (Necromancer @ Dec 9 2007, 06:38 PM) QUOTE (Mustard Death @ Dec 8 2007, 08:29 PM) QUOTE (KenJennings @ Dec 8 2007, 03:19 PM) Shyamalan is great, I loved Lady in the Water. I think this is gonna be great as well. He's the best writer/director of the modern day. Oh please... What about Darren Aronofsky? Peter Jackson? Zach Braff??? Sorry M. Night, but you're overrated as shit. PETER JACKSON??? Seriously MD... get off the pipe bro. Come on man, I'll admit most of his other stuff isn't so crazy... but just because you didn't like LOTR doesn't mean the movies weren't well written (er, well, "transferred"...) and directed. Those pan shots? Can you f***ing say epic? Or perhaps you'd enjoy the blistering, intense camera angles of WWF reruns...
  11. QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Dec 8 2007, 09:08 PM) Cronenberg all day. I was gonna list him, but I'm not sure if he's ever been both a director and screenwriter... and I wanted to keep to the whole "writer/director" thing.

  13. The tagline is lame as shit... but they usually are. I'll probably end up going to see it with friends, but it looks really run of the mill to me.
  14. Ok, so maybe Alfonso Ribeiro doesn't bless us with sweet moves anymore... but we've always got Fresh Prince reruns and this 1985 dance instruction package to fall back on... Enjoy!
  15. I think I posted a thread about this back when the preview was attached to Transformers... I don't remember it getting much of a response. Have they still not released any more info about the movie? Back when I was keeping up with it, all there was to look at was a bunch of theories about Cthulu and Voltron O_o
  16. "I became a doctor because of the movie Patch Adams"
  17. Last Tuesday's episode was the shit.... hopefully they're on a new winning streak.
  18. Please... no more Kill Bill movies...
  19. QUOTE (theredtamasrule @ Nov 15 2007, 08:08 PM) From the "slavery reparations" skit: Grits n' Gravey: I bought my momma a car and spent the rest of the money on PCP. Funniest ever. That's from the World Series of Dice sketch... but still really funny. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/shadowhound/tyrone.jpg "Mmm, peanut butter and crack sandwich!"
  20. QUOTE (liquidcrystalcompass @ Nov 12 2007, 05:09 PM) Ever seen the skit "The World Series of Dice"? Ashy Larry just floors me. "Alright, let's go... my mama thinks I'm takin out the trash"
  21. I'm rooting for the midget guy... he's badass.
  22. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Nov 9 2007, 11:40 PM) QUOTE (tangdog @ Nov 9 2007, 08:19 PM) I love it. In particular- the I'm Rick James Bitch! Also: I'm rich, bitch! I just bought this baby straight up cash!
  23. Whoa, you dig Chappelle??? I love his show... I own both seasons on DVD.
  24. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Nov 8 2007, 05:17 PM) QUOTE (Mustard Death @ Nov 7 2007, 08:27 PM) I'm kinda interested in this one... probably just because of Steve Carrell. And it does look a lot better than his last shitfest, Evan Almighty or whatever. I'll probably hit up the dollar theater when it's showing there. You still have a dollar theater where you live??? BTW MD, you now have the coolest signature to go along with your the coolest avatar. But of course! It's like five minutes down the road from my house. $1 matinee, $2 at night And thanks... I think I spent like five or ten minutes staring when I first came across it
