Signals is near the very top of the pile when it comes to great albums. I love everything about it. Its from that period where I feel Rush truly nailed the art of efficient song writing (Permanent Waves being the beginning) - just a wonderful piece of work. Its the genius of Rush that they can have so many albums that are so different from one another and show many different styles, yet at the same time can be so typically Rush. To me, there are no wrong answeres when it comes to great Rush albums...they all have a their place.

Have Rush played a show since Moving Pictures came out that hasn't included Tom Sawyer?

Have to admit that I dont understand the dislike for Half the World...a very decent song IMO. Test for Echo as an album is an odd one for me. Took me forever to get into it. Went maybe 10 years without listening to it after release before giving it another go. The line about Doggie Heaven has to be the single worst thing Neil has ever put his name to.

Its over a year old and may of you may already have heard it, but I thought I would mention it anyway. http://audiojunkies.ca/tag/rush/ I really love this podcast in general and this episode is about our favourite band by fans of our favourite band.

Hemispheres is a straight 10 out of 10 album. Everything on it it is perfect.

Wow, more VT hate... Define hate? I love each and every rush album....I have no critical ear for Rush...it just happens that VT is #18 of albums by Rush I love!

I thought it was an absolutely wonderful show. Personal highlights were Analog Kid (Alex's solo was something else) and Headlong Flight, which was all kinds of amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=5nnDiKh08TI
