  1. Yes!!! Great to hear him talk about possibly doing signings in Europe in this interview as well :7up: Can't wait for the date(s). It would be super fun if Alex could join him on this trip to Europe as well
  2. Hi CTM ! :hi: I was just watching your "Four from the Floor" the other day and reliving . . . :). Geddy has said that more signings are planned for the New Year; I hope that's true. Worse luck about the ticket prices, though. Hi blueschica :hi: After posting here last night I decided to reply to Ged's BBBB T.O. signing event post on IG. I wrote: "It would be wonderful if you could do one or two book signings in London (UK)". Guess what? When I woke up this morning and checked my IG feed I couldn't believe my eyes... He my relpy So now I'm hoping he'll consider doing a signing event in London (UK) as well. Receiving that little icon really made my day  I saw that on IG; I didn't know that was you! He replies to people so rarely; I thought, "Wow, lucky person!" I know, so receiving this like from him feels pretty special :)
  3. I disagree ;) I'd love to meet one of them in person. Even if it meant for only 60 seconds in a bookstore. That would be a moment in my life that I would cherish forever :)

  5. I wish he would come over to London for one or two signing sessions. I've seriously considered buying a ticket for the Toronto event. But once I started checking out airline ticketprices my heart broke almost immediately. It is seriously wayyyy to expensive for me to fly from AMS to YYZ on such short notice
  6. My version of the event. The All Star Jam starts at 34:55 and I've only focused on Alex, Geddy & Trevor Rabin during that one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI5fCln-ZZk
  7. Oooh, thank you for putting this up, Marielle! I could watch it over and over! And here are the induction speeches as well :) http://youtu.be/X_Qnv0NH4-s
  8. Roundabout - HBO clip: http://youtu.be/t1-NsnlPc54
  9. It is on Ebay. Well, as it turns out I was able to order a copy from a Dutch record store today :7up:
  10. I'm super sad. It was on the list here in Holland earlier this week, but it turned out too good to be true: it was retracted...
  11. No ring in the Norman's Rare Guitars video either (visible around 0:27)
  12. Totally not my scene (Save for the Yes and Rockin In The Free World bits.) but I'm glad you enjoyed it and cheered loudly. I'm sure you won't ever forget it. Seemed like there were some Rush fans there. Yes, saw lots of Rush shirts out there :) Well, I appreciated most of the inductees, but I fled the room when the Tupac related wall of sound hit us. The sound was horrendously loud during that part of the show. Rap is so not my cup of tea and imho this style of music is very out of place in this context.
  13. I'm so glad you were able to go! It was on Periscope here and it was so wonderful to see Geddy and Yes, and then Geddy and Alex on stage together again. To be there in person must have been awesome. Yes it was so awesome to be there :) However it was almost impossible to buy a ticket for this event on TM from Europe... You could only buy tix with either a USA or Canadian creditcard. Unbelievable! I was very lucky that my friends in TX were able to help me out the moment I was able to secure it on TM otherwise I wouldn't have been able to go. The reseller's prices were super crazy. I'm glad it all was being Periscoped :)
  14. Just got back home from NYC where I was super lucky to be part of the RRHOF celebration :) I've taped the Yush performance - I am a huge Yes fan as well - so this is a dream come true for me I'll post my video to YT asap.
  15. I love both bands to bits and I don't care what happens! :cheerleader: This is super cool!
  16. OMG :7up: Yes & Dirk performing together on one stage  Can't wait to see this!!!
  17. Alex and Geddy could hit it off with a drummer for this event and then go on tour as a power trio playing Yes songs. Then we could have Yes, the Rush Yes, and the Jon Anderson/Rick Wakeman/Trevor Rabin Yes all touring at the same time
  18. :( :( I was hoping to see what they had on Monday, the Citibank card presale. As of last weekend, my nephew lives in the area; a cheap overnight stay! Maybe they will release more sections of tickets then? hahahahahahahaha One can always hope I guess . . . . . . Can you perhaps buy one for me as well if you get lucky on Monday? Would be awesome :)
  19. Tried to buy tix for this today during the RRHOF presale with a RRHOF membership, but guess what... no tix :fuckinputer: unless I am willing to pay $2000 per seat...
  20. This news is the best music news I have read in a long time this morning :D I was soooo hoping Geddy would be inducting them (Chris Squire once mentioned that he would be happy to see Ged doing this) and now it's even better: Alex will be there as well. Man, this is super news for this Yes/Rush fan!! :7up: :cheerleader: Can't stop doing my happy dance :7up: :cheerleader:
  21. I was going to bring up Alex doing his Subdivisions, and I forgot what he said at the end - something like "do you guys have that arrangement down for tonight" - or something like that - made me laugh. In fact, the only times I did laugh during it was on account of Alex, or Geddy doing his imitation of Ace asking Alex to do the Bag man. It's too bad things ended the way they did (esp. for Geddy). Had all three of them been ready for retirement then it might have been a different type of documentary. Maybe even a celebratory and happy one instead of this - at times very sad - retrospective. I really wonder how Ged's doing right now music-wise since we haven't heard much of him over the past 15 months :( Alex has been out there playing a handful of gigs and worked with Rick Emmet and now with these EDM boys, but Geddy seems to have faded away except for his appearance on the Bob & Doug McKenzie vinyl.
  22. I've watched it three times by now. In my heart I knew it was over last year after I'd seen them in New Orleans. When I got home after that show I cried really hard... I knew it was over and I was glad I had one more show to go to at the time. The documentary has some very sad moments indeed. Esp. the part where Alex wraps his arm around Geddy after the LA show :( But on the other hand Alex cracked me up big time with his grungy version of Subdivisions :LMAO: That brought tears to my eyes as well, but those were happy ones. There really should have been a bonus feature of him doing hilarious stuff on/off stage over the years on this DVD
