I was in second row last night and am just in awe of Geddy's strum technique. Even if you know how to play the old rush songs the way he does them after using it is simply mind blowing.

I'm going to put a little spin on this. My oldest son was not six yet when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was released. It was the first movie I took him to that he sat still, not moving until the end. For this reason it is on the top of the list.

Not much time wasted in setup. It is go from the beginning, forget going for more Slurpee's or Instagram breaks.

As well as everything else I didn't like the way the film looked, it was cheap looking and dark a lot of the time but not for atmosphere, to hide how crap it looked probably. No way to hide its crappiness. I can imagine Michael Jai White in another superhero role though. Back then he could've passed as Luke Cage. Then again, he WAS in Dark Knight as one of the mob leaders that the Joker knifes in the mouth. I notice Ant Man is out now, I'll probably watch it but I'm not expecting much. Hence the title :eyeroll: :P

I finally saw this last night and it was terrific. I won't spoil things just to be safe but the ending was so satisfying, No we won't get awestruck scared by dinosaurs anymore but this movie was better than 2 and 3.

Eddie's only friend is Alex. Not the best one, but the only one. He's a great guitar player, maybe the greatest. But not very intelligent human being, obviously. His interviews are boring and stupid these days. I read the last one where he said that "he hasn't listened to any music in years". Not defending Sammy... he's a cokehead no doubt... but I sympathize him a lot. VH would be much better with Sammy and Michael now... DLR is a joke who has lost his voice completely (he didn't have much to begin with)....and in his current form he has a stage charisma of a beached whale... at least Sammy can still sing. Please let's not get carried away.

I just discovered this since although not trying to be spoiler free, have been refraining from knowing everything until I see Rush in San Jose. This is my number one wish so I nearly crapped myself when I saw this.
