Where do you send the albums to get them signed? There's a thread on here somewhere with good details...but the quick and dirty is to get a self addressed stamped envelope that will fit what you want signed, (don't seal it) get another envelope and put what you want signed, and a note saying how you want it personalized....then put everything into another envelope and send it to a local venue where the band is playing. I forget to whom they said to address the package. I believe it was Ray Danniels. I believe it was Liam Burt, their tour manager http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/photo.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/IMG_1790.jpg

When I saw the first airing, they only showed the second half of the show.

Another Guy Who Wants to Build His Own Hentor Sportscaster

I believe Alex's started with a no fine tuner Floyd or Kahler, then a fine tuner Floyd was added later. I think I remember Freddy offering the replicas either way. The Bill Lawrence pickups sound incredible. Make sure you get the Bill Lawrence 'Wilde' pickup, not the USA. http://wildepickups.com/Wilde_Bill_s_Twin_Blades.html I bought my MIM Standard Stratocaster off of Craig's List for $200. They're actually really nice guitars. I've had a few of them, and none of them disappointed, especially for the money. I also meant to say that I used ink jet waterslide paper in my above post. You got to give the finished decal a quick coat of a clear finish (rattle can), before you dip it in water. I'd still like to do a red Hentor. -

It was a Standard Strat with a 'vintage' style tremelo. A little routing needed done. I did the headstock decal using ink-jet paper. The pick guard was bought from Warmouth, I believe. The guitar has a Bill Lawrence 500L. 250k pots, a Gibson switch, and a Floyd Rose Special tremelo. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/photo4.jpg -

I built one with a MIM Strat as the base. I have around $450 into the guitar, including the guitar itself. It looks great, and plays fantastic. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/IMG_1761.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/IMG_1756.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/IMG_1759.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/IMG_1760.jpg -

I have a couple buddies in the Time Machine DVD. Does that count?

I thought the release was today. I went to Best Buy, and saw nothing. I asked one of the 'blue shirters', and they called the manager over. A quick trip to the computer, and I was told they have 20 units in the back, complete with free shirt, but not allowed to sell until tomorrow.

I'm a big fan of the Bill Lawrence pickups. I recently put a 500L in my 80's Charvel, along with a mirror pickguard, (inspired by Alex's red Sportscaster). It sounds amazing. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/IMG_1787.jpg

Taking photos at concerts - what kind of camera do you use?
CE24 replied to Mika's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I took in a 6 year old Cannon Powershot 5a to the show, not knowing if it would be confiscated or not. I was pleasantly surpised at the pictures an old $100 camera could take. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/Rush%20Cleveland/IMG_1628.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/Rush%20Cleveland/IMG_1603.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/Rush%20Cleveland/IMG_1638-1.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn108/hetfieldinn/Rush%20Cleveland/IMG_1656.jpg- 45 replies
