The In Absentia deluxe from a couple years ago is good, and fairly cheap. The surround wasn't bad in the original DTS, so for me the alt versions and in progress versions of the songs, as well as a couple that didn't make the record, is the true worth in that particular set. My price point is $100 or less. I mostly buy them for surround mixes that are bundled, and only sometimes distributed separately. Exception is SW's Hand Cannot Erase, which is a true piece of art with the book that I rather enjoy. There has to be something significant about the release for me to spend more than $20 on new/re-released music. If you are into lynyrd skynyrd, Wal mart used sell the a greatest hit package with one disc in surround sound. A regular CD and a DVD of the Grey whistle test. Price was around $10!

Who has/had the best worst album (min 5 of new music)?

What about flash gordon? Well if it must count, then I suppose it goes last. But I’d argue it’s much more interesting than people give it credit for. If Brian Zeno had done it instead of Queen, it would’ve been received as one of his more acclaimed works. Just wondering how you rated it. I can only recall the title track. Mighr have to give it another listen -
"Rock and Roll" Hall of Fame (I use the phrase R&R loosely)

It's good stuff. Not a huge fan but have heard some. Kind of like Africa's James brown. I imagine he is included for his influence. Stoked for devo.true originals. -
The Police: Albums Elimination (Round 2)

De Do Do Do... Sappy but not the high fructose found on synchronicity. We all know his greatest and most heart felt love song is be my girl - sally. That was Andy. The only track one might call a "love song" on Synchronicity is Wrapped Around your Finger, I guess. Hardly high fructose, considering the lyrics and Sting's explanation of the song as "a spiteful song about turning the tables on someone who had been in charge." Every Breath You Take isn't a love song, as we all know. So the lyrics were Andy but the music was sting? -

Glad you enjoy them. -

Some may prefer the lack of sophistication to corporate polished perfection. Born in the 50s is a killer tune as is so lonely. It seems that around here the police song you are most likely to hear on the local classic rock channel is Roxanne. It may be the one song that most people associate with police? Maybe not? Certainly a easily identified opening riff. -

I will agree with this, but add that Omegaman is an excellent song (and could have really changed the course of that band's history had it been the lead-off single from the album like A&M wanted). They’re all great. Outside of Mother, the Police don’t have any “bad” songs. It’s all relative. I like Mother! That's too bad. Lol the police were very consistent but their last record was a bit of a sell out imo. Mother is weak. Miss gradenko is weak. Walking in yourfoot steps is lame. King of pain has not aged well. Synchronicity part 2 is the best song on that record imo. I heartily disagree with all of this! Also, since I’m rather young to be listening to The Police and I think King Of Pain is perhaps the best song on the album, is that maybe proof that it *has* aged well? Even the synchronicity part 2 statement? The heartily disagree was duly noted and appreciated! Rock on my friend. -
Peace sells Sfsgsw Rip Cte Kimbabig Youthanasia After that when Marty left they were never the same imo. The system has failed being the best in my eyes post Friedman. Thanks to Chris Poland but it's more a solo Mustaine disc than deth. Look at the credits.

Zenyatta over synchronicity. Better more aggro music. Way better lyrics Not all sappy love tunes ready made for Mtv. -

I think rehumanize yourself is the best track on side 2. Great lyrics. One world not three is also great. Omegaman, darkness and secret journey all killer. Too much information is ok but imo the weakest. -

Not bothering to vote but gotta say I am surprised some prefer synchronicity over ghost in the machine. Way more filler and duds on synchronicity. Side 2 of ghost in the machine is some of their finest imo. -

Ah, I found it. Wrong venue and year, but I was close. Don't be sad One out of three ain't bad Lol You have seen great shows over the years! Well done. Thanks. I have a lot of missing stubs but back in my younger years, who knew ticket stubs would bring such pleasure later on in life. I'm sure many of them were destroyed in the wash. I meant that most sincerely. You saw a bunch of groups in their prime. Yeah, I am missing a few ticket stubs but got most of them too.
