Didn't someone start a TOST V 26 but 73 deleted it? Was it ghostworks?

Christ, TOST is slow compared to the old days. It's like people have actual lives now.

Turning 30 is fine, actually. It's more of a sudden awareness that you're getting older that most people don't think about when they're still in their twenties. Also, the slacker years are over. Well, for most people they are, but I don't want to get into that.

A bit of a tangent here, but on the first day of one of my classes a fellow student walked into the room and asked if I was the professor. When I told her I was a student she asked why it took me so long to go to college. Turns out she was one of the more annoying people in that class.

It's all downhill after 30. I speak from experience.

My cousin used to chew her toenails. She was about 7 at the time.

I think vomit disappeared after the last big board update in 2013. I remember people bitching about it at the time.

Shrink-wrapped Afrin bottles. The person who gave final approval for that measure should be locked in a room with 100 unwrapped bottles of Afrin. They can't come out until every bottle is opened. No cheating with implements of any kind (tweezers, knives, etc.). Bare hands only.

I also noticed that our "friends" are no longer visible on the profile page. I didn't have all that many anyway, and most of them are no longer active! I bumped your post because 73 never responded to it.

My first interaction with Lorraine was in late 2013, in a now somewhat infamous thread that shall remain nameless (those were fun times). She was very witty, and at times quite blunt, a quality that I know some here found offensive, but I very much admired. Then, in late 2016, around the time her husband had his first stroke, my own mother suddenly fell very ill, passing away in a nursing home almost a year later. Lorraine exchanged many private messages with me over those months, always offering words of comfort and advice, despite having to deal with the illness of her husband. There were lighter moments in those messages as well. We talked about our cats -we both had white cats at the time. She had Lily and I had Snowball. She also told me to make sure that I was eating enough, saying that if I didn't keep up my strength I'd be in no condition to help anyone else! Lorraine was a special member of this forum, and I can only hope that she's finally found some much-deserved peace and rest.
