  1. Limelight is my prediction......
  2. Thanks TapeHead, appreciate feedback and the heads up. Philly is outstanding and the audio is just damn solid, thanks again!
  3. Tapehead, amazing thank you. I know you are working on MSG, i want to show this to a dear friend who could not see this tour, and weve been going every tour since 84. In your estimation, is the MSG going to better thank the sound/visual of the PHILLY show. I just want to wait...if it is, to show him the best quality. Thank you soooo much, this show is amazing. saw them in Boston!
  4. Two points really quick: Economy is still tough so I think this has some impact. Second, I went to opening night and pretty much a full house, but most importantly, if people dont go; they are trully missing out. Opening night, hiccups and all; out of seeing them every tour since 1984.....this was one of the absolute BEST Rush I have ever seen. Period. 80's stuff played heavier, and CA stuff is just phenomenal, better than the album which is rarley doable. Go to this show!
  5. crowd was good and I was in the waaaaay back and we stood the whole time...but to be honest, there were some quiet moments in much of the first set, because i think people were stunned at the tunes that were blaring out of the speakers. When each song started people went NUTS, and then just seemed to take it in. I heard so many around me saying to peeps next to them "are you kidding me" with a BIG FAT SMILE ON.... great setlist, doubters, you will see... GOOD crowd, not the best but solid.
  6. wheres my thing......sick. I cant believe how you pulled up that bass. sounds really good. I cant say it enough thanks for this! really nice job, I swear I could hug you dude. thanks!! do i sound excited???
  7. grand designs amazing bro. I AM DANCING, while making dinner for kids please keep them coming (of course when you can) I will keep checking this board for the next 2 days. SOunds amazing!!! When your done and rested, if you have 2 secs to describe how I can burn these to a cd, i have itunes, can i put them there...... but ignore this last request, just work your magic my friend \ so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sounds great!!
  8. no worries, appreciate, cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Went to the show. If you would have shown me setlist before, i would have been excited, but surprised. I can't express in words how sick this show was live. 80s synth stuff was heavier and worked well. CA material I thought was better live and I have never felt that way when going to a show and hearing there most recent material live...going back to my first show GUP tour 84. On paper vs live ....Live way better. Old school fans will enjoy this, loved it big time. I just dont know how geds voice will be able to maintain at that level. YOU TUBE vids DO NOT do it justice.
  10. I so appreciate Kentpilot. I just never have luck with those torrent sites and all, but was able to listen to the force 10 clip. Thank you so much I appreciate your time. It was a great show in my hometown and this will make my week. Seeing them again in Boston in oct. Thanks again friend!
  11. Computer idiot here. Is there any way of putting up all the songs here like you did for Force 10, i finally figured out how to download and listen. IT IS EXCELLENT. If its a huge pain I understand, but i was at the show in my home town and a night I will never forgot. really nice recording for opening night!!
  12. was there. Long time fan, first show 84 and seem them every tour since. Outstanding setlist and I have never felt they ever played new material BETTER than on the album and for opening night, my honest to God opionion is, it was better. Loved it, set list live is way better than what it looks like on paper. For those going you will see. peace
  13. Hey all, I dont post here much but saw my first show in Portland ME 84 and every tour since. Downloaded tabs in my 30's to learn on the guitar and played the pillows on my bed when I was 14. Hard core fan here....and always positively critical of my favorite band. But seeing them in my home town opening night was surreal for several reasons. Not just because it was home town either...lol They absolutely rocked last night, which is amazing for opening night plus lots of new, more complex material. I am not one to jump on the ..."its the new album from Rush so its the best ever" bandwagon; but friends... of the decades I have seen this band; last night was absolutely...one of the best shows I have ever seen...Yes some flubs but the kicked ass. I am a La Villa era type fan, but love stuff like Earthshine. So I like the heavier old stuff, and yet I was so excited when I heard Between the Wheels live a few years back. But NEVER have I ever heard new material actually sound almost better live. It actually sounded better, and I LOVE CA! Geds voice, damn, for almost 60, dude was off the hook. And at first wasnt sure about the string section (not really into Metallica and strings idea) but this absolutly worked. Actually wish and hope they turn it up a bit when I see them in Boston. Have read many times on this board fans welling up over songs and stuff. Nope, just didnt get it, kind of thought....are you kidding. Last night, end of The Garden. Live. Damn. ate my words.... For anyone looking at set list it is WAY BETTER LIVE than on paper. The 80s synth stuff is heavier due to the way they are playing as of late and it breaths so much life into them. New material is explosibe in a live setting. Body electric was just killer and when they started to play it...I was like ...are you kidding. Friends, yes maybe a few could be dropped ..red sector a, good tune but come on...but overall....... One of the best setlist I have seen..... If you are disappointed at all in what you see as the setlist, when you get to the show. You won't Peace.

Ya, I mean how can the story be anything but "somewhat" sad if Neil doesn't believe in the afterlife...that..."life is hard and then you die" and then..thats it. So glad I don't think or believe like that. So thankful Im not in a fanatical crazy church that Neil thinks of all religions. Our church teaches to give more, think outside your self and forgive which I hope has made me a better Dad, husband and man. When you think about it, that is what "wish them well" is about...which is cool but just kinda leaves out a big piece. Love the album! Cant wait to see them opening night!!!!
