They Bow Defeated

CA passes the gym/elliptical test for me. The pace doesn't fall off nearly as much as S&A, for example, and it's cool to hear the album in one session from start to finish. Still can't beat Iron Maiden for the elliptical, though: Powerslave, Somewhere In Time, Seventh Son...

The only thing he missed is to slam CA fans as "fanbois." BTW as someone pointed out, the reaction to S&A was MUCH harsher than to CA. I was a lurker then, but remember there were MANY more critical threads about slow tempos, shoehorned lyrics, faith-bashing, yodelling, sucky album cover, Good News First bashing, you name it.

Looks like Terrapin may be upset that he wasn't included.

Have any of the superior cynics ever teared up at a Rush show? Maybe at a certain point it hits you just how cool it is to see them again after all these years, and that this could be the last time? Nah, I didn't think so.

So, ADKOT is better than CA and Van Halen is better than Rush. Gotcha! Seriously, I do have to admit that Van Halen's show was damn inpressive. Dave's voice may be shot, but he's still a master showman and entertainer. And EVH is, of course, still .

The way that Geddy delivers these lines in the bridge is remarkable, one of his most emotional vocal performances ever. The second line especially...
