  1. Why not "Cross Eyed Mary" by Jethro Tull?
  2. His current touring band is incredible: Mike Keneally on keys, Bryan Beller on bass, and Marco Minneman on drums. I'd see him if I could just to see those guys. Well he's playing at my college which is about 1/4 of a mile from my dorm so why wouldn't I see him?
  3. I already apologized for it. It's over In other news, Steven is going to remix Close To The Edge.
  4. Wilson himself said not for the next year, or 5, or 10..... He really doesn't know. We really don't know. Time to stop the speculation. Why, what harm does it do? Don't answer, that would be speculation. I'm sorry but up until recently, that's all this topic was. Wondering and wondering if and when they'll get back together. And..? Sorry, I shouldn't be as harsh about it. But it is annoying after a while. I've come to terms with the fact that they might not play together for a while.

  6. Still though, would you mind making them smaller or removing one or two of them?

  8. Why do we not have a New World Men sub-forum! We need a place to talk about scratching our nads!
  9. Woah woah woah. geddyforlife, the pictures on your sig are way too large.
  10. Good News Everyone! http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lm3ff3bcrc1qf3p6yo1_500.png I found the second disc of Octane Twisted
  11. Black Sabbath - Heaven & Hell Rush - Clockwork Angels (You could also argue S&A if you like it a bit) Dio - Magica Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Psychedelic Pill
  12. That's funny - when I met SW, the only disc I had was FOABP so that's the one I got signed. Well I got Grace For Drowning & The Raven That Refused To Sing signed so I was willing to part with it.
  13. I also gave my friend my signed Fear of a Blank Planet disc yesterday. I told her I'd get it signed for her. So that's two PT albums I'm missing now. But I know that one's going to be in good hands. I'll miss that one especially though.
  14. I put on Octane Twisted the other day and discovered that disc 2 is missing. That now sucks. That's one of PT's best live recordings on that disc. I'm glad I ripped it in the highest quality I could onto my computer but I want my damn disc back.
  15. Why don't we rename this the "Official Steven Wilson Thread"?
  16. The Incident was the album that got me into them. I enjoyed it a lot when I first heard it. Yet as I began to compare it to the rest of their work, it failed to compete. I'd rather Steven does whatever the hell he wants. If he's happy and inspired, he'll make better music. I don't care if PT ever gets back together, as long as Steven is happy and making stuff he likes. That usually follows with quality work
  17. Maybe Buddy Guy, then Baroness a week later
  18. I heard the guys got a new album coming out soon. So I'll revive this one-man fanclub topic
  19. BB King is always fun to listen to, but I never feel compelled to play his music.
  20. I'm quite excited for it. His last two albums, Skin Deep and Living Proof were amazing. Though it has some talent I'd rather not here, I'm sure the rest of the album will be stellar.
  21. Six-time Grammy Award winner and 2012 Kennedy Center Honoree Buddy Guy will release his new studio album Rhythm & Blues on July 30th on RCA Records. The follow-up to his 2010 Grammy Award winning album Living Proof, this double-disc masterpiece features first time studio collaborations with A-list artists Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Gary Clark, Jr., Beth Hart and Aerosmith members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.Rhythm & Blues will be available for pre-order at all online retailers on June 25th. Produced by Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter and longtime collaborator Tom Hambridge (Skin Deep, Living Proof),Rhythm & Blues captures the 76 year-young Guy at the peak of his creativity. Replete with heartfelt vocals, straightforward lyrics and mesmerizing guitar licks, Rhythm & Blues not only exemplifies how blues continues to be the foundation of all genres of today’s music, it also illustrates why Guy has been influential in the careers of Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan and more. The Rhythm disc includes rhythm and blues-style blues with deep grooves, such as the Junior Wells’ 1960 hit “Messin With The Kid” featuring Kid Rock, the touching “One Day Away” with Keith Urban, and “What You’re Gonna Do About Me,” a rousing duet with Beth Hart. Guy rounds out the disc with “Best In Town,” “Whiskey Ghost,” Guitar Slim’s “Well I Done Got Over It” and more. The Blues disc taps into the genre’s rich history with “Meet Me In Chicago,” “I Could Die Happy,” “Never Gonna Change” and “All That Makes Me Happy Is The Blues.” Aerosmith’s Tyler, Perry and Whitford contribute to the musical lesson with “Evil Twin” while Gary Clark, Jr. joins Guy on “Blues Don’t Care.” In a career that spans nearly 50 years with over 50 albums released, the incomparable Buddy Guy recently added the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors and NARM Chairman’s Award for Sustained Creative Achievement to his long list of achievements. Guy is the recipient of 30 awards and accolades, including 6 Grammy Awards, 28 Blues Music Awards (formerly W. C. Handy Awards), Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, the first annual Great Performer of Illinois Award, a Billboard Music Awards’ Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. in addition to being listed as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time by Rolling Stone.
