Hahaha. I'm watching Rush In Rio and I noticed it during "Leave That Thing Alone." It's an unmistakable tick. He also seems to mutter to himself (like a lot of musicians-myself included-do). I wonder if he's counting off time or verbalizing the sound he's making, like "bam, da-da, bam, bam".
