  1. QUOTE (GeddysMullet @ Dec 26 2011, 11:32 AM) Definitely the Shirt Hall of Fame. Mamma mia! I think you girls know how I feel about Geddy in that particular sort of shirt! Sorry, but I have to repost this one now: http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x285/geddysmullet/GeddyISHot-1.jpg No need to apologize. We're not complaining. All Geddy pics are welcome.
  2. QUOTE (HowItIs @ Dec 27 2011, 04:53 AM) Oh yes, he smiles with his entire face. You can always tell a genuine smile - if the eyes aren't smiling, too, it's a fake. Lerxst never fakes it Like this? http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/thewordsandthepicturesv2-37.jpg Whoever made him smile like that deserves some kind of award.
  3. I watched The Pianist for the second time last night. Now my mini-crush on the starring man has become an official one. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Adrien1.png *Swoons a little* http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Adrien2.png He has beautiful eyes, doesn't he? They're so somber and big and hazel. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Adrien3.png Aw, don't look so sad, Adrien.
  4. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/XmasNeil.jpg Merry Christmas to Bubba, his family and his fans. Now that I think of it, he kind of resembles Santa with those glasses.
  5. Here I bring you my Christmas Geddy painting for this year: http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Gorgeous%20Geddy/XmasGeddy2011.jpg This was made using watercolours. I haven't painted in several years, so I was surprised by how well this turned out. His hair was the most difficult part; based on the picture, there were light and dark areas where he was under direct sunlight. But it's such gorgeous hair. Again, I know that he's Jewish, but it was still so much fun to create. Hopefully we Geddy girls can share him.
  6. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/XmasLerxst.jpg Happy holidays, my dear Lerxst-loving ladies and gentlemen. I'm primarily a Geddy girl, but wow, that is one amazing smile.
  7. I already have, back in November. According to all the handouts given, a donation has the potential to save up to three lives. I don't like needles at all, but I went through with it despite that, given the aforementioned reason. That and it is the right thing to do, as well as something that not enough people do. It is a great cause, and I am honored to have contributed to it. Also, I plan to do so again in the future. So you could say that I'm not actually "Nobody's Heroine." (Rush puns, FTW!)
  8. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Nov 18 2011, 03:46 PM) http://images.askmen.com/photos/leonardo-dicaprio/85043.jpg In the "I felt like a cradle robber till I found out he's only 2 years younger than me" category, Leonardo DiCaprio. Honestly, I've watched him grow up and somehow thought he was still a kid. He is NOT. Lordy. Speaking of Mr. DiCaprio, I was watching Inception in one of my classes yesterday when I realized what a great actor he is. I've grossly underestimated him all this time, but no longer. And I agree, he's very much an attractive man, not a kid. Love that tuxedo on him.
  9. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/RushDay.jpg This was made while I listened to the entirety of "2112." Easily the most epic twenty minutes and thirty seconds of my life. I do not care what anyone says otherwise -- to me, Geddy has a beautiful voice. Especially during "Discovery."
  10. QUOTE (SavageAmy @ Dec 20 2011, 01:31 PM) http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n639/savageamy/geddyandrabbi.jpg Happy Hanukkah, Geddy! I hope you don't get punched by a rabbi! Oh, and Happy Hanukkah to any Hanukkah-celebratin' Geddy Gals! No, rabbi, don't punch Dirk. It's not good for business. Think of the children! But anyway...Happy Hanukkah, Geddy! I'm not Jewish myself, but I do recognize the holidays and have had an interest in Jewish history and culture for a while now. I'll be receiving a Star of David necklace as an early Christmas/Hanukkah gift, as a quiet way of showing my support.
  11. This is my Geddy bookmark series, with three of my favorite eras. The Counterparts one is in the book that I'm currently reading. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Gorgeous%20Geddy/Bookmarks.jpg
  12. This is a gorgeous studio, I have to say. Wherever they choose to record, I am sure that the end result of their work will be nothing short of epic. It's been a long wait, but we are all very anxious for the latest Rush album in five years. That's what matters most: the music.
  13. Believe it or not, my Neil nymph side manifested itself in my latest dream. What I remember is playing the drums for "Free Will" on Neil's amazing 360-degree drum kit. It might have been the Time Machine tour one.
  14. We are indeed quite rare, we Rush-loving women, but we exist. You just have to look in the right places.
  15. QUOTE (Babycat @ Dec 17 2011, 05:11 AM) QUOTE (YYZrocks @ Dec 17 2011, 09:52 AM)QUOTE (SavageAmy @ Dec 16 2011, 06:49 PM)QUOTE (NobodysHeroine @ Dec 15 2011, 08:09 PM) How about some pics of Geddy from the SARS relief concert in Toronto? Love that sleeveless shirt. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Gorgeous%20Geddy/vlcsnap-2011-12-15-19h54m15s176.png Thanks, Kahme! And, may I nominate this picture for inclusion in the Geddy Lee Pants Hall of Fame? Nominate it for the Shirt Hall of Fame while you're at it! and it should probably win an award for being one of the hottest pictures ever How about nominating it for the Sexiest Arms Hall of Fame?! How about all three?
  16. QUOTE (yaoi_myantidrug @ Dec 15 2011, 10:04 PM) QUOTE (NobodysHeroine @ Dec 15 2011, 05:19 PM) I shall share some more of the lovely Mr. Brody. (Yes, I know that I'm posting pics of the same guy. I hope you don't mind. ) http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/adrien_brody_03.jpg http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/os9fA2p5kq68hn71QDgwOaN6o1_400.jpg http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/adrien_brody_2009_03.jpg We very much don't mind. Especially when it's someone so pretty. Indeed, he is. I'm glad that someone else thinks so.

  19. QUOTE (1 of the 7 @ Dec 4 2011, 07:20 PM) Yeah, even if I can get some pics from my mom, scan them and post them in...I don't think so...tough crowd! Consider what I look like now and trust me when I say I'm about 1000% BETTER looking than when I was a kid (except for when I was REALLY young). There aren't words to describe how ugly I was. I'd have to pay for y'all to get counseling! Or for myself to, after the comments that would be made Aw, don't say that, Carrie. You were and still are beautiful (even if I haven't seen any pics of you as a child).
  20. QUOTE (Babycat @ Dec 13 2011, 09:28 AM) In Victorian times, the ladies were cinched so tight from having the laces pulled, that they regularly passed out. No, we don't need that. It won't be that tight, obviously. I enjoy breathing, thank you. Mine would be laced up just enough to, like Ya_Big_Tree said, influence my posture and help my back.
  21. I adore My Favorite Headache, in particular the title track, "Slipping" and "Grace to Grace." The album is a proud part of my CD collection, scarce as it may be. It's crazy to think that I was only six years old when that album was released, long before I knew of or cared about Rush. Hey, it's a Geddy album: of course I love it. Currently, I have not heard Victor yet, but I am sure that a solo album by any Rush band member would be amazing.
  22. QUOTE (2112Oracle @ Dec 12 2011, 11:36 AM) QUOTE (GeddysMullet @ Nov 4 2011, 07:00 PM) http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y234/bobwire/group1993.jpg Oh.....my......Ged...... Why are they so perfect?! *clutches her heart* This is cruel and unusual punishment.... But, the kind I don't mind at all. Geddy.... Alex.... Neil.... Yes, they are so perfect. Especially the one on the left.
  23. QUOTE (Janie @ Dec 11 2011, 11:43 PM) I have corsets too. I love them! I remember watching a program once with Dita Von Teese and she gave a lot of pointers about wearing one regularly. I don't wear one that often but if that's what you're going for, might be worth finding her tips/suggestions. Yes, the first person who comes to mind when I think of corsets is Dita. She's awesome. It would be benefitial to seek out her tips/suggestions.
