Introducing to Rush

First, the setup:

You are introducing a friend to Rush, and you want to provide them with a glimpse into several examples of the group's work, and from there introduce them to similar works of the example they like, and eventually they'll come to love Rush, as every sane human being does. So, what would your examples be? They should fit genres such as: prog, synth, classic, pop rock, etc.

My list is:

In The Mood

Bastille Day

2112

A Farewell to Kings

YYZ

Limelight

New World Man

Between the Wheels

Open Secrets

Superconductor

Double Agent

Resist

Freeze

The Garden

I know some versions of this have been done before, but not like this. Basically, songs that describe the different "types" of Rush.

What You're Doing, Working Man, Anthem (the early hard rock)

2112 and Cygnus X-1, Book II (the long epics)

The Spirit of Radio, Tom Sawyer, Limelight (the more catchy rock)

YYZ and La Villa Strangiato (the musicianship)

Subdivisions, The Weapon, Distant Early Warning (the tolerable synth era)

Secret Touch, Far Cry, Headlong Flight (the "hey, they still rocked even as they got old" era)

I agree with most of this, but I may add Territories or Force Ten to the tolerable synth era; and The Main Monkey Business to the musicianship.

Also, I would add something like "New World Man" or "Superconductor" for some of the pop rockish stuff
