I don't fuckking believe how we lost this one 23-10 up and the Lions doing nothing all game. Fuckk this season we're done.

In....ter....cep...tions. They make a difference.

No it was Corey white allowing Tate to catch and run 70 yards for a TD, plus penalties. Stafford already had two picks.

Yeah WTF was up with that Tate TD? He should have been tackled in his own end of the field.

Up till then we'd played well on defense. It was a disastrous loss, we look like a basement team, in most other divisions we'd be down and out.

Maybe you can finish 7-9, win the division and then have the Seahawks come in and destroy them with Mark Ingram play the role of Marshawn Lynch.

Then again, the Seahawks may not even make the playoffs.

Packers beware: Saints have won 13 straight prime-time home games

METAIRIE, La. -- The New Orleans Saints (2-4) seem to have lost their mojo this season. But there's no better time and place for them to get it back than Sunday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Green Bay Packers.

The Saints seem to find another gear when they play at home in prime time. They've won 13 straight night games in the Superdome, including the playoffs, dating back to 2009. And they've won them by nearly 20 points per game.

Their dominance actually dates back even further to a 51-29 rout over the Packers on "Monday Night Football" in 2008. Including that game, the Saints have won 16 of their last 17 home night games:

Saints saintly at night

A look at the Saints' record in home night games since 2008.

Date Year Day of Week Opponent Result

Dec. 8 2013 Sunday Carolina Saints 31, Panthers 13

Nov. 10 2013 Sunday Dallas Saints 49, Cowboys 17

Sept. 30 2013 Monday Miami Saints 38, Dolphins 17

Nov. 5 2012 Monday Philadelphia Saints 28, Eagles 13

Oct. 7 2012 Sunday San Diego Saints 31, Chargers 24

*Jan. 7 2012 Saturday Detroit Saints 45, Lions 28

Dec. 26 2011 Monday Atlanta Saints 45, Falcons 16

Dec. 4 2011 Sunday Detroit Saints 31, Lions 17

Nov. 28 2011 Monday N.Y. Giants Saints 49, Giants 24

Oct. 23 2011 Sunday Indianapolis Saints 62, Colts 7

Oct. 31 2010 Sunday Pittsburgh Saints 20, Steelers 10

Sept. 9 2010 Thursday Minnesota Saints 14, Vikings 9

*Jan. 24 2010 Sunday Minnesota Saints 31, Vikings 28 (OT)

Dec. 19 2009 Saturday Dallas Cowboys 24, Saints 17

Nov. 30 2009 Monday New England Saints 38, Patriots 17

Nov. 2 2009 Monday Atlanta Saints 35, Falcons 27

Nov. 24 2008 Monday Green Bay Saints 51, Packers 29

* - denotes playoff game

Dome dominance: The Saints have been running pretty hot at home regardless of the time of day in recent years. They've won 19 straight home games, including the playoffs, under coach Sean Payton (not counting his 2012 suspension).

The Saints have gained 466.3 yards per game in those games, according to ESPN Stats and Information. That's 60 yards more than any other team at home in that span (the Packers rank second with 405.7).

Ripe for a shootout: History also suggests that the Saints and Packers are destined for a shootout based on the results of the previous three meetings between Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. Those three results: The Saints' 51-29 win in 2008, a 42-34 Packers win at Lambeau Field in the 2011 Thursday night Week 1 kickoff game, and a 28-27 Packers win in Lambeau Field in 2012.

Brees has averaged 396 yards in those three games with a total of 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Rodgers has averaged 293 yards per game with nine touchdowns and four picks.

RB Khiry Robinson has been ruled OUT for the game. Forearm injury.

Saints are having a press conference later today to announce their forfeiture of the game...... ;)

Thomas is out too, so it's Ingram or bust. In truth this will just be a good excuse for Payton to forget all about running the ball again, so get ready for 60 passing attempts from Brees...

He better complete a good amount of them. Your defense is too porous to stay if your offense can't get a hold of the time of possession. Edited by liquidcrystalcompass

Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel: 2/4 Packer reporters pick the Packers to win

Green Bay Press-Gazette: 2/4 reporters pick the Packers to win

New Orleans Times-Picayune: 4/7 reporters pick the Packers to win

It's all based on the home field.....imagine that! :D

If the game were at Lambeau, I think everyone would be picking the Packers. I HATE these kinds of games!! :o

Not at all. A "trap game", if there is such a thing, would be playing a team like Jacksonville or Oakland.

The Saints have too much talent to be put in that category, and they do play really well at home. They have the potential to salvage their season and become a contender. This game will be like the Packers-Dolphins game, I think. The home team will be giving all they have......
