A Companion Unobtrusive
On my vinyl copy of PW, the lyrics of Freewill read "...you cannot have made a choice". Same on my CD, which was printed in the US. Does anybody know more about this detail? Was it a misprint, or was that the original version of the lyrics? Have they ever been sung like that? Does anybody have a copy with the correct lyrics printed? This is the kind of question that arises when you're really out of topics to talk about! rickyrob
QUOTE (A Companion Unobtrusive @ Dec 26 2004, 04:20 PM) On my vinyl copy of PW, the lyrics of Freewill read "...you cannot have made a choce". The Comp Wow! Companion, this is well weird. This is one of the few albums I have on both vinyl and CD. My CD says what yours says; You cannot have made a choice. BUT My album, which I have had since 1980, says "You still have made a choice" Well strange. Why change it when its clearly wrong?
A Companion Unobtrusive
Weird indeed! I'll have to dig up my vinyl to check the print. I've had it since then too, though. To be continued.

ES-335
My vinyl copy from 1980 has the correct lyrics: "You still have made a choice" My cd version which I have had for many years, probably since the late 80s says: "you cannot have made a choice" Hmmm ... weird indeed, indeed! madra sneachta
OK, like many people, I have old vinyl and new CD remasters. My vinyl copy (with an Anthem label) says "cannot" on the lyric sheet, but correctly attributes the lyrics of Different Strings to Geddy. My CD says "still", but wrongly attributes the DS lyrics to Neil
RushGuru
My vinyl and remasteredCD both say "You cannot have made a choice".

NeilPeartFan2112
Never seen it on my Remastered CD or classic vinyl. Perhaps it's something to look for at the store. Could be a collectors item you know
