Sodoff Baldrick
Thinking about this thread and the disturbing trend of TV shows being made into movies has me wondering if there were any exceptional ones made. I can only think of one - The Fugitive. Any others worth watching?
Big T
If you like the original Star Trek, then Star Trek: The Motion Picture has sentimental value. Number two (Khan) is better but the first was like a homecoming.
Jack Aubrey
I thought 'The Addams Family' was hilarious.
NeilPeartFan2112
QUOTE (Big T @ Nov 29 2004, 09:35 PM) If you like the original Star Trek, then Star Trek: The Motion Picture has sentimental value. Number two (Khan) is better but the first was like a homecoming. I like the Star Trek movies. I don't think there is one that I strongly dislike. I always watch them on rainy days. circumstantial tree
As a fan of Bewitched, I'm appalled that is being made into a film. Elizabeth Montgomery is irreplaceable.

"The Blues Brothers" was hatched from a SNL skit -- does it count? While not a four-star, highbrow film, it has its share of fans.

Slaine mac Roth
I will put my hand up and say that I really enjoyed Lost in Space but, then again, I'm pretty much a sucker for anything with Gary Oldman in. The first two Addams Family films were good but I can't comment on the third. I've enjoyed most of the Star Trek films. On the other hand you do get abominations like Sgt Bilko (how could anyone in their right mind even think that Steve Martin could come to the great Phil Silvers?)
