All I can say is I'm going to f***ing kill them. This movie is scaring the shit out of me right now, and I'm no easily spooked by movies. Something about this one..... I heard the only difference is that there are no American characters in it. But something about a lower budget makes some movies even creepier. And, actually, just being alone in a generations-old Japanese style home (especially in the countryside) can be damn eerie at times...something about the combination of old wood, narrow corridors, rice paper sliding doors, and tattami flooring just gives it a certain feel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Freedom_Fighter Posted August 22, 2005 Share Posted August 22, 2005 wow. i've heard crap-loads of NEGATIVE comments about this movie but i personally thought it was great. i'm glad to see pags thought it was so scary and well done. i wasn't scared by it as much as pags but i was PRETTY freaked out by it. that noise that the ghost girl makes...*shudders* especially in that bus scene. that made me jump right out of my freaking seat. oh yea and i saw it in th THEATER. try to imagine that pags. Maybe I was just in the right frame of mind, or something. Not sure. All I can say is I was glued to the set - wide eyed - and I don't think I could sink further into my couch.
