Can anyone confirm Rio show differences on R40?

I've heard a few say that the video quality is at least marginally better than the DVD --

 

- but I'm really curious to know if there is any difference in the audio.

 

And by that i dont just mean a higher-quality, 48.1khz version of the original shit-tacular 2003 mix, but if it was re-mixed in any way by David Bottrill or anything like that?

 

(... I am still waiting for my copy. I have yet to find a retailer that carries the blue ray of this box set)

I think the video looks like crap, the tfe footage from 1997 blows it away..

 

Totally agree. Rio is a lost cause the only watchable thing from that is the Bio, The Boys In Brazil....

I'll never understand why people complain about the rawness of a live recording. It's not perfect but it's not supposed to be. Rio is hands down their best live moment. You can't even begin to replicate that kind of energy.
