Nope, never had the cash to go lol

12 years is a long time to wait!

I saw them at Castle Donington in 1984 as well, that was a great bill too.

Who was on that bill?

AC/DC

Van Halen

Ozzy

Gary Moore

Y&T

Accept

Motley Crue

That was my fave Monsters year.

That's right. I remember arriving at about 12 noon, we were able to saunter right to the front when Crue came on, everyone was just laying around like it was a picnic, but gradually as the day wore on we found ourselves slipping further and further back into the sea of people.

Aye by 6pm all our booze and other drinks had run out and I was parched, and they were charging ridiculous prices for dubious Styrofoam cups of tea, I drank the crap though ugh!

The line-up was great though, you couldn't complain, not many gigs have three genuine festival level headliners one after another.

Donongton festivals are legendary \m/

Live at Donington will always be my favorite AC/DC dvd :)
